It is very reasonably priced for a small tourist town. The food was excellent. We ate breakfast. We were in the to grab drinks around supper time, and the meals from the daily specials smelled as good as they looked.Home cooking away from home!Food: 5/5

This is a classic, small town restaurant serving a wide range of American food. The food is good quality and tasty and the service is quick. Its a perfect example of a small town restaurant. Coming from the big city, it feels like a trip back in time. The restaurant seems like a popular local staple.Food: 5/5

Best breakfast place in town! You have got to try the fried grits. Delicious. All of the food is. The staff is amazing! Heads up, cash or check only but they have an ATM inside if you forget.Kid-friendliness: So good with kids here!Parking: Sometimes you may have to park down the street but it is a quick walk to the restaurant!

The food was high quality, tasty, and homemade. The staff was fun and delightful. Our waitress had worked there since it opened 20 years ago and the atmosphere was cheerful, playful, and family friendly. We have already booked a trip back to Mountain View and will definitely be going back to PJ's Rainbow Cafe several times while we are in town over the weekend.

P J's is a hometown favorite! They have an excellent breakfast menu, and they will serve it to you any time of the day. They always have more then 1 special to choose from for lunch and dinner. And the pies are scrumptious. The owners are very sweet people, always there working with the great staff, P J retired and now son Robbie, and his wife Amber are carrying the torch, and doing wonderfully at it.

Very friendly staff, nice homey atmosphere. I loved my patty melt and crispy fries. The others in my group had breakfast for supper, and loved it. No pancakes available in the evening, but they did have waffles. That'll do!

P.J's Rainbow Cafe II My husband and I were in town for the weekend. We happened to stumble onto this place, no it was more like a higher power led us here. We have never in almost 50 years of marriage been so blessed by a restaurant and its staff. The food was par to any 5 star restaurant, in our book it was at least a 6. But when we left we looked at each other and said "what just happened?" We didn't just walk out the door, we left behind half our family we didn't know we even had. The comradery that goes on in there is out of this world, yes we felt like we had just been whisked away over the rainbow to a better time and place. There were no cell phones present, EVERYONE in there was visiting with EVERYONE else, whether they knew them or not. The owner, Robbie Baker, sat in our booth and introduced us to his family through photos. The previous owner stood an explained how the place came into being. The waitress, Rita Cartwright, became my new best friends as we realized how much we shared in common. The world itself could learn so much from what goes on inside those 4 walls, where you were treated with utmost respect and friendship. I didn't want to leave, but now more than ever I want to go back. Thank you to the staff of Rainbow Café, you made our trip to Mountain View most memorable.

Yummy Southern cooking. Because of all my food allergies, I have to ask lots of questions. The waitress was very sweet and was able to have food made so that I could eat it. It was great plus the other customers were very friendly.

We loved having supper at PJ's. The food was wholesome and delicious. The coconut cream pie was yummy. Our waitress took good care of us and made a fresh pot of coffee at my request. From outside we couldn't tell how popular it was but when we opened the door it was full of people enjoying their food and socializing.

The best hamburger and beer battered onion rings. Just like “Mama” used to make. Atmosphere is great. Very busy.

Best breakfast in town. Just off the courthouse square. Great atmosphere. Big Denver Omelet was the best. Cover your plate pecan pancakes. The best chocolate gravy and biscuit ever. Will definitely return for breakfast in the future.
