Customer service is non-existent. Went for a meeting to discuss my mortgage which is up for renewal soon. The person I met with didn't bother to run an application and then ignored two follow-up emails from me. Once my mortgage is up I'm closing every account I have with this bank and never dealing with them again. This will be the last of a lifetime of bad experiences with BMO.

They either don't know how to answer the phone or they get paid not to answer it but good luck getting a hold of anyone.

Trying to reach the back manager is nearly impossible Spoke to receptionist and was guaranteed a call back an hour later That was 4 days ago ! No such thing as customer service !

We have been to this branch twice in Jan.We were toldWe could cancel our accounts anytime after we opened our new ones.I have called twice since we got home from our appt(to open new and close old joint accounts)No return calls, no action closing our accts.I was feeling pos and now??I'd need a callbackI need some follow-through on her promise to close our accts as promised.Fran Roberts.

Super bad „customer service“ female counter clerk yelled at me and was not able to answer my question, not willing to help or even to understand the question ( which was super simple) She even offended the other clerk by deleting things on his screen. No idea how such a person can be in this office. We will now move both our private and business accounts to a different bank!When I am reading through all the comments: this lady seems to be a well known issue!

They wouldn’t issue me a card unless I told them why I was in castlegar haha like it matters It’s no one’s business why I’m here . It’s like “ well I’m visiting family ( ok here’s your card ) or ,I’m here for work ( ok here’s your card ) or , I’m here to commit a crime ( sorry , no card for you ) How stupid . It’s none of Anyones business why I’m in castlegar or what province. Now if the clerk had asked me on a friendly note , I could care less and I’d gladly say ( I grew up here , and I’m just working in Ontario ) which I did say . But really it’s none of their business. What a joke

Wish I could give 0 stars. The branch manager Tracy Hooper was extremely rude to myself and other customers then backs up her attitude that she is the "Branch Manager" like she is above anyone and can do whatever she wants. Making transactions without even asking or authorization. Again was told she is the "Branch Manager" and she is allowed. I've never seen anyone be so rude and uncaring.

I'm not surprised when I see 2 stars for this Branch, just in for some simple banking, left had to come back as i was now locked out of my online banking. Not only did they not accept any responsibility but balked at the notion that they had to be on hold to fix the situation. The teller was obviously confused trying to reset the PIN when it was the online password that needed to be reset Tracy Hooper the manager got involved and claimed I was being rude when I was only asking the teller to do her job and help fix the situation she created she said, "she will remove me from the branch" she has no business being a branch manager. I will never use that branch again It leaves a bitter taste in my mouth for BMO they are lucky they have great staff at the Nelson Branch or I would all of my accounts.

Worst branch of BMO. I was just needing a letter from them, the lady told me that assistant manager will keep it ready tomorrow, and next day when I went to take my letter, the assistant manager refused. Her name is Tracy Hooper. Most impolite person I have met in my life. The company should fire her. I would never come to this branch again.

Terrible customer service tried to make a mortgage principle payment post dated 1 day early said no because Jan 1st fell on a Saturday and they weren’t back until the fourthAnything to take a few more dollars interest my mortgage comes due in 2024 at which point I’ll be moving my business to CIBC. Terrible customer service. One of the worst I've experienced in my life. They will tell you they will call you back ''first thing in the morning''... don't bother wait for their call because they won't call you back. On top of that, no email, no follow up... you will have to call them to hear from them.You won't get any help, and plus, if you lose money because of their poor service (like it happened to me) they will tell you it's not their fault.Si vous êtes francophone, n'allez jamais là. Croyez-en mon expérience.
