I have been coming to this place for many years.last nights visit was very unpleasant I felt very un welcomed and kept getting dirty looks from a Asian with long hair .her demeanor was very cold my girlfriend and I had one drink and left. The cross is no longer welcoming. I will not be back u fortunate. It seems it's gotten very dry not a pleasant time.

I did not visit the store but I called in to ask if they had the Sons of Vancouver Amaretto in stock. The gentleman on the phone provided amazing customer service - although they did not have any in stock, he went above and beyond to advise trying another store!

It's a little fancier now than it was back in the day when they got started (and I lived nearby a loooong time ago), although not much has changed other than a few dishes and choice of beers. It still has a pleasant gastropub atmosphere and classic pub fare such as pies and beef dip. There's also not much choice on Lonsdale above the highway, so all things considered, it's the best pub around!

It’s a little store when you walk in but I was looking for something specific. And, they happened to have it. It’s a bit pricey liquor store but for last minute purchases is fine.

So there's a beer/wine store, which this is, and then there's a pub, which is another account! Didn't take pics while I was here, but they have a great local selection as well as international well known stuff to purchase. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff!

Store has a good selection and variety. Promting for a tip is out of line, given that the service is a basic cashier interaction. Bags of ice are overpriced, go to the Chevron across the street.
