Please do not support TIMBERLAND SPORTS it's a rip off, imagine charging $32 just for correcting your postal code on your hunting licence credential.

Kai and Fay, where really great. We went in to check if they knew anyone in town for some good charter last minute they provided us a list. Unfortunately we were too late and didn't get a chance to hop on a boat. But Kai set us up with the right bait/gear to get home with the limit allowed! They made our trip worth while! Thanks again

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST !!!!We're in Port McNeill twice a year , to provision up for fishing trips . Timberland is an absolute must stop for tackle , rods , reels , line etc. etc. The owner and staff are extremely professional , knowledgeable and very friendly as well . If you're in Port McNeill or launching your boat here , drop in and check out their selection , you'll be pleasantly surprised .

Ask them what their return/refund policy is before you purchase anything. They have a lot of really interesting stuff here like portable gas burners and lots of fishing gear and some of the customer service reps are generally helpful and friendly. Except for the attitude and poor customer service I received from one cashier was garbage tho. He was an older guy, bald and white hair on the sides like the KFC Colonel Sanders. I had bought a water container from Timberland and filled it up with water on my camping trip. It leaked at the corner. It was dripping everywhere and unusable. When they reopened, I came back to the store and asked for a refund. the bald man said "No, we do not know what you put in the water container, we decide if we want to refund something" I told him "it leaks at the corner" and showed him with receipt, and for this water jug, I told him "how else would you know it leaks without using it first?" anyways, just understand that based on Timberland's reasoning : 1) we don't back up or stand behind our products - probably because many of their products are not the best quality. They don't believe in their own products to offer a store warranty. 2) its up to you whether you take the chance to buy from us and its up to us, if we want to offer you a refund 3) if you take home their products, fishing equipment and use it on your fishing trip only to find its a garbage product and does not work or breaks you probably sol - the store will probably not refund it telling you 'we don't know what you did with our product, so no refund for you' I wish they could have at least offered a store credit, exchange, or refund or have a large sign about their refund policy for certain items. Before selling me this, they should have told me 'all sales final' The bald guy's attitude is garbage. I try to support local small business, but at the same time, I know of one big chain store that would probably refund this with no questions asked. Ask Timberland what their return/refund policy before you give them your money.

Stopped in one weekend to buy a fishing license since on the government website they are listed as a vendor and I was unable to get to a printer while camping to do it online. Store owner refused to sell me a license, most likely unwilling to fill out the necessary paperwork. Also out of stock for bait and to top it off incredibly rude. I don’t know how a place like this stays in business. Shop elsewhere

I honestly have no idea how this place has stayed open for so many years? It’s obviously because he is the only shop around for this stuff. I asked a young lady at the counter for gun cleaning fluid and she walks over and points and says there’s stuff there and there and then just walked and sat back down!! Absolutely useless!!! As she had showed me moose and elk urine!!? I can see why I was told not to go to him
