Good selection! Was satisfied. Location is blessed as well. Took some pics bc i thought Angry Otter just sold a specific brand (called Angry Otter?) but it was defo not the case. Bought some caesars here. Life is good.

Bunch of kids throwing attitude. Never going to any of the angry otter liquor stores. Please train your employees to be mature and kind to others. For the people looking for better selection please go to BC Liquor which has far better collection and respectful attitude towards others.

Pathetic attitude of the employees. As if he is doing us a favour. Wouldn’t even give one star. I would rather suggest go to BC Liquor which is 700m from there.

My partner and I come here often for their craft beer selection, but this is the 3rd time we’ve picked up a pack of our favorite beers where the beer seems to be spoiled! (See photo, left can is from BC Liquor and right is from Angry Otter). It’s a completely different colour and tastes off.
This has happened with both off the shelf and refrigerated beer. We mentioned it to an employee but not sure how much that helps. It sucks to waste $20 on a bad pack, so I don’t think we’ll buy beer here anymore ☹️ Hopefully they figure it out.

Really unhappy with the experience I just had. Came into my local wine store for a bottle. An employee asked if I needed help and I said no thanks. This employee proceeded to watch me like he suspects I’m a thief. This made me really uncomfortable. I chose a bottle and was looking for a cider can. After I chose one, I turned around and the employee was right there standing like a bouncer with his arms crossed, looking at me. I like to wear baggy and comfortable clothes on my days off. I may not look professional but this made me feel awful, like I’m a homeless person looking to steal some wine. Not sure if a theft happened recently and they were on high alert. But if a customer is wearing a big coat (in the winter) with sweat pants, they should not be followed around the store and watched like a hawk. This completely ruined my experience and my day off for that matter. There are plenty of wine stores in kits. I won’t be going back to this one.

OK store in a pinch. Reasonable selection of wines and used to be a good selection of beer but now mostly just mainstream offerings which can be found anywhere else.

does not take bottle returns as required by law: our 24 bottles were sparkly clean and the staff took in only 1 of 24, we have reported u to the license board, shame on u !

The lady cashier working Friday April 7th (wearing bunny ears & tail) around 9:55PM was extremely rude. I arrived before the store closed and she started snapping her fingers in my face ushering me to hurry up (never experienced such a thing before). The previous time I went to this location she grunted at me when I was paying. Terrible… I don’t understand why she is working in the service industry. Makes me never want to go back. Will drive to UBC instead. Makes me understand why they are called Angry Otter
