I was so pleasantly surprised at their size range! I can't believe 4X clothing has been in Gastown this whole time. I was really impressed with the quality of the fabrics in the pieces they carry. Also super impressed with the warrenty on in-house pieces, as well as their consignment rack. Thanks for the great, friendly customer service!

How dare this store make the cutest flattering swimsuits ever !!!!! Lol !! I bought the cow print full suit and it fit like a glove and flattened out my baby pouch haha . I also bought the cow print top with flutter sleeves and I love that it can be worn as a swim top or an everyday crop !
Folks , please visit this shop . You won’t regret it . And to the staff , thank you so much for being patient with me trying on a million sizes and colors before I got the right ones!!

WOW. I do not usually leave reviews, but I have just received the most beautifully made bikini I’ve ever bought from this wonderful shop. 11/10! Browsing shops before flying out and wandered in here and nearly cried!! The clothes are SO cute and as a plus size travel girlie I rarely find stuff in my size at cute boutiques so having a whole store was overwhelmingly dope!!! I did not have room in my luggage for all the things I wanted but luckily they ship online!

Nettle's Tale designs great pieces and I appreciate their inclusive sizing. They also carry some fun items from NLT and lots of cute accessories. My favourite part of shopping at Nettle's Tale is the superb customer service in shop! I frequently pop by Wednesday evenings, and the sales associate working is always so kind and helpful.

I had such an amazing experience trying on swimsuits today at the Calgary pop-up shop! The quality of their pieces is AMAZING and I felt so comfortable and confident in all the bathing suits I tried. Finding plus size swimwear in Canada is so difficult (damn near impossible) so I am extremely happy to have found this store! Will absolutely be ordering again from them in the future.

Shopping with your friends while plus sized can be a little bit of a drag- not here. I was able to walk away with a cute swing dress and a cropped tank top (that actually fits!). Love this store, lots of accessories and their consignment rack is great too.

Walked in spur of the moment because of the size 22 mannequin in the window and what a
Wonderful surprise it was.
I met Hannah who was bubbly and relatable and super knowledgeable about sizing, cuts and fits! I told her what I was looking for and she pulled a couple pieces for me. Stuff I wouldn’t normally pull and what a difference this makes.
This store is beautifully designed and has clothes from a xs to a 4x!!!! So refreshing to Actually buy clothes in store that you can actually on!
They have cute accessories, jewelry, glasses and bags! Their specialty is in plus size swimwear and I can definitely tell. They carry one piece suits. And you can pick between low mid and high rise in swim bottoms.

i had one the most incredible experiences shopping here, my size (xl-1x) was available in most of the items i wanted to get, and if they didn’t have the size it was because they were out of stock - not because it didn’t come in my size or was “online only”.
the place has a super millennial-trendy vibe, and although the pieces are a bit of the pricier side, it’s nice to know i’m supporting a local business. also, coco was such a great help, truly made the experience borderline magical.
the shopping experience didn’t feel forced or fake, i asked coco for help, and all of the items pulled were great recommendations! super hands on, understood my feedback on how i felt with the swimsuit pieces on and gave a new recommendation accordingly. i genuinely felt welcomed and kind of pampered, which is a rare experience. nettles tale is the kind of boutique that wants their customers to feel good with what they’re wearing, how they’re wearing it, and why they’re wearing it. i wish the clothing was more my style, but just the fact that i found some truly unique and gorgeous swimwear pieces left me over the moon about the shop and the in-person experience with coco. i’ve been saying coco a lot and it’s because coco made the experience so so so beyond incredible to me.
i’m hoping i can treasure these pieces for a long time to come.

I had a life changing experience at this store today. I am around a size XL and finding bathing suits that fit me in the right and supported way has always been a challenge. Coco was working today and supported me in finding my new favourite bathing suits! They hyped me up and gave me suggestions based on our conversation and really made it a positive and special experience.
Much appreciation for this store’s existence and for Coco’s loving and caring nature.

Drove here from Seattle and made my friends come, best experience and totally worth the road trip. Hannah was amazing and I wish she could have joined us for our Vancouver day trip. We left with way more than the one suit I came for and am very happy. Will come back for our Spring Break to get the new styles.

The most lovely and successful in store shopping experience I have had in years, possibly my whole life. Every piece in the store you can tell is crafted with attention to detail and care. People of all sizes can shop here and feel included and welcomed. A must visit if you are in Vancouver.
