Used to be my number 1 go to store .. I bought a few appliances there, Used to be competitive in pricing, good customer service, now you are just dealing with some NPC who doesn't care. Better off buying it online elsewhere. You will get better service and pricing online.

Have to thank Rod from plumbing who was so helpful, kind and warm when I faced potential flooding of my basement because of electrical issues. He patiently walked me through various options of how to get a backup sump pump going (it was a rusted mess but with his help I got it cleaned, primed, and hooked up to a garden hose as my fail safe). He was awesome. Thank you Rod! Although I live close to Rona, I drive to this Home Depot as the staff are always so helpful and knowledgeable. 👍🏼

So I took my sweet time entering my pro xtra phone number while checking out, and with still 10 minutes left before closing and plenty of self check outs still open the associate decided to come and scan everything for me. So not only could I not get them on separate POs, but I had to hand sanitize them at home.
I had to go to customer service after to get it refunded and split into the three POs I needed in order to chargeback clients appropriately.
If you’re making me a loss-prevention target at least state so clearly so I know the motives for what you’re doing and can entertain you.

A couple of times unpleasant experiences at this location turned down our thrust of years shopping at home depot!
Lately, I went to for a refund with original receipt and same payment credit card. They asked me for my ID. Apparently it against homedepot return policy! However, I went to my car to get my ID in a pouring rain! When I returned store, I got a refund receipt and almost walked out of the store until I looked at the receipt. They didn’t scan all items. I almost lost $188!
Here is another unpleasant experience at this location!
In March, we went to cabinet session requesting a quote for whole kitchen cabinets replacement. A lady called us within 48hour which was good but appointment setup was one week later. When she showed up, anxious but seemed done the measurements professionally. She left without her business card or factory information but her cellphone number. Without any updates for a week, I texted her. She replied would let me know the next day. Never heard from her again! Wasted us three weeks then we had to find another contractor!
There was not a chance to hold a supervisor. Called homedepot Canada, a lady answered phone without care! I can’t believe this is nowadays Homedepot!
This store is close to where I live and we shop a lot of materials for our renovation business because of homedepot return policy flexibility. However, it’s time to switch to somewhere else!

This is a big home depot for Vancouver. The only flaw it has is it is a 15 walk from the main st skytrain, no busses from skytrain to home depot
