I hope this turns out fine and I can revise my review: I picked up my car on 3/20/24 and the repaired rear bumper looked great--Alameda Auto Body previously did work on my car, and I was happy to use them again! I adjusted my rearview mirror because it was turned all the way to the right, which I assumed happened when the interior was cleaned. When I parked at home, I noticed the mirror had little cracks on the top and bottom--like someone hit (or elbowed) it while cleaning. Immediately called the shop, and was told to bring the car in. I brought the car back on 3/21/24, and spoke to manager Marcus, a SUPER nice guy whom I had met a couple of times before. He inspected the mirror and said he hadn't seen something like that before, and had to talk to the owner about what to do, but he would call me. I said that was fine, but those cracks were definitely not there when I originally brought the car in. Today is 4/3/24 and I haven't heard back from Alameda Auto Body. I don't want to be impatient because the mirror is a cheap part (no electronics) and they're probably busy with big jobs, but I'll call at the end of the week if I haven't heard from them. I'll also update this review to include the entire experience.

Alameda Auto Body Shop was definitely a Body Shop I would only recommend to anyone! Great customer service, price, and quick with great quality of work! I took my car in for repairs after my collision. Nhan at Alameda Auto Body shop took care of the situation from start to finish. I trusted him with my car and he definitely did not disappoint. He updated me with everything my car had to go through and was very kind. Nhan also helped me with everything including getting me a ride to and from the car rental. I didn't have to really deal with AAA because Alameda Auto Body shop took care of everything. After an accident/collision, there's always so much headaches, but Alameda Auto Body shop made sure to keep the whole transaction quick and smoothly. Thank you so much to Nhan, the staffs who worked on my car, cleaning it, and for the awesome work! My car looks brand new again.

Today I had the most amazing experience at Alameda Auto Body! I believe the manager or owner's name is Marcus. He provided exceptional customer service! I've rarely experienced this level of customer care! Their work quality was impeccable, pricing was very competitive, and customer service skills are unmatched! Alameda Auto Body, best body shop I would say in the Bay Area they bend over backwards to make you happy. When you leave there he will be satisfy the work is excellent like the dealership, type of work extremely good work I don't see that very often

I recently needed my first auto body repair for my car & was really worried about getting taken advantage of financially. I reached out to businesses on Yelp for a quote & Alameda Auto Body was one of the first businesses to reply. They were informative, kind, & quoted far less than other businesses who replied. I took my car in to Alemada Auto body the same week & continued to receive excellent service. The employees looked at my car, discussed options and pricing with me, & continued to give me an honest quote without trying to replace parts that didn't need replacing. My car was fixed in 3 days and while my car was there, I continued to receive phone calls from Alameda Auto Body about the status of my car and when my car would be ready. What I really appreciate about this business is the amount of communication, honesty and integrity, and fair pricing. My car looks amazing after the repairs, and I feel confident knowing I have a place I can take my car if I need future repairs.

My car got hit by Chevrolet Silverado on the driver side :( When I called my insurance to file a claim, they were able to give me a website that located the auto body shop that works well with them. If you have National General Insurance / Encompass / Allstate, this place definitely knows what they're doing! Before I found this location, I did call the first one near me and unfortunately that location didn't accept new clients until 2 weeks out... When I called this location, they immediately told me I can come in next day for an inspection & evaluation. I was really happy that they were able to do what they need to next day. My car was still somewhat drivable, so I didn't have to leave it at their location, but if your car is completely unsafe and not drivable, it's best to call them ahead of time if they have space to leave your car there. When I got to this location, the friendliest front desk gentleman helped me out, his name was Tian. He was super helpful and knowledgeable! He truly pays attention to details when it comes to the inspection of your damaged car. He helped me order all the parts that my car needed, and it came within 3 business days! Once the parts arrived, I was able to drop off my vehicle next morning. Tian and another gentleman, Marcus, helped me out during the drop off process; it was smooth and easy! They were kind enough to order me a Lyft back home, since I had no ride. One thing I love about this place is that, they send you a website to see the status of car being repaired! Never in my life I would experience an auto body shop using a system like this. This team is VERY responsive through e-mail communication; if I ever had any questions, they would answer in a reasonable amount of time. I love how this team truly cares about their customers and are passionate about what they do. That's the true value of an auto body shop. The feeling that you're part of their family and your vehicle are in good hands! I would totally highly come back to this location for any future repairs (hopefully not car accident ones). Kevin (the owner) truly built an amazing team full of hardworking people, and you'll definitely get your moneys worth!

After one visit, I am hooked on Alameda Auto Body and Servoces The staff is courteous, respectful and honest almost to a fault. As a result of me running my car over a curb, the front bumper hung loose. Proposals from a few autobody shops range from a new bumper to reattaching the loose bumper at a cost of over $100. Fortunately, I drove by Alameda Autobody while running an errand, and dropped in for an estimate without a prior appointment. Non, a young staff member there, offered to reattach the bumper on the spot and at no cost. I was running an errand and had to schedule an appointment the next day. The next morning, the car was fixed while I waited in their waiting room. Non firmly declined my offer to pay for the work. All throughout, he was friendly and respectful. I am struck by his courtesy and honesty. If I ever need bodywork on my car, Alameda Autobody will be the only one I will go to.

Dysfunctional office. Stressed me out for 2 weeks. Work finally done well. Got two quotes - one for back bumper that was hit when parked that his wonderful insurance was paying for. Second quote was for a door I dinged. Got the second quote within 24 hours. First quote never came. Finally I called and got the quote by email. I sent quote to insurance and they accepted it, got in touch with them and sent them a check. Never heard from them so I called to make an appointment. Women on phone said they never heard of me. I sent them back the quote by email. Called insurance guy Alex who contacted them by text and they called me late in the week of October 25 to make an appointment . Appointment was made for Tuesday, Oct 31 at 10. On Monday, Oct 30 my phone was off and I listened to a voicemail at 7pm. A male said since I'm not coming in till the 31st (March was in transcription), they were sending back my parts (which came in Oct 20th). I left a message that night. I walk in for my Oct 31 appointment and they know nothing about it except the male not taking care of me says he sent back the parts since I didn't return his call that was made at 4pm yesterday. Lucky for me, the parts hadn't been picked up and they saw that the work was already paid for. So they took in my car and it was ready 3 days later. I told them I would pick it up Friday Nov 3. On Nov 2 I get a text from Carwise saying car should be ready Nov 8. I emailed back and they said IGNORE THE TEXT. All this could be because one worker doesn't enter information on computer. So much stress for no good reason. Customer service appalling. Body work fine. (Just looked at emails. Oct 23 they wrote they hadn't heard from insurance company but the parts arrived on Oct 20 because they got the OK from the company).

if you're trying to get a High estimate to collect an Insurance check, this is the place for you. if you're paying for repairs on your own this place will price gouge you. I was quoted 18 1/2 hours to detail a car. This should be against the law and I feel bad for People who don't know any better. I hope this review helps someone.

I needed my right tail light replaced, as well as repair of bumper and lift gate damage. The work will take a couple of days; however, my daughter had her driving test the next day. Ke quickly replaced the tail light so that there would be no issues with driving test. Excellent and friendly customer service! Much appreciated.
