They were overloaded with clients but they took time to deal with each one. Understaffed, but they did their best and were polite. They upgraded my car for free so that was kind. They just seemed overwhelmed.

Booked a Small Sedan reservation through the Hertz website. Received a confirmation from Hertz which stated to pick up and drop off at the Marriott at the convention center. I get to the Marriott and am told by the concierge that they only do drop off at the location. So I call hertz and they send someone to pick me up and take me to the hertz location. I finally get to the hertz location and am told that they don’t have a “Small Sedan” available despite me having a reservation and that the next cheapest rental will be $171 extra. He said it was because I booked the reservation same day which makes no sense to me. What’s the point of a reservation and confirmation number if there is no car reserved or confirmed? Zero attempt by the manager to rectify the situation. Terrible experience.

Made a reservation on Expedia. We do not typically rent cars so we were kind of apprehensive. We arrived at 8:30am for our reservation. Everything went seamlessly and the staff was very friendly and explained everything well. They were concerned that we booked a compact car, we are a family of 4 adults. They offered to upgrade us to a van for free. The vehicle was clean and in good condition. We returned the vehicle the same day and the return went quick and easy as well. Very good experience overall.

they rented me a Tesla that had Fraudulent Documents. Wouldn't refund my money, had to sue them in court. Poor management. Scandalous Company. Avoid at all costs.

I made reservations months ago. For some reason the hertz website allowed us to reserve for 12pm on Oct 14, 2023. This store closes at 12pm. We arrived at the store at 12pm only to find out they close at 12pm. However they have terrible customer service. We were glad to see there was a Hertz agent there at the store hoping they could help us. Instead as soon as my husband walked in he was yelled at by an agent named Nick. No greeting whatsoever, Nick just rudely mumbled something in just the most annoyed attitude. This man working at Hertz and working at this place was annoyed as if I'm asking him for a personal favor. I needed a Hertz agent, he was one but said "he was not able to help us, it's not his fault". He expressed multiple times that he was "unable to help us it's not his fault". I don't know why he was there then. I finally called customer service and they were able to help me. Poor customer service at this place is a direct reflection of the management as well. The representative named Nick is not professional at all and has a terrible attitude. He has probably detered many potential Hertz customers (he sure has with us). If you need help from this store do not contact the agents, very unprofessional, not helpful, no work ethic. Will leave you stranded.

Faisal and Nick were great. They made the whole process smooth and simple. I ended up going with the managers special and they got me in an amazing car. I travel to LA often and I will definitely be coming here from now on for my rentals.

I would give this place a zero if I could. We rented a car end of Aug, when we arrived our car was not ready we had to wait 20 mins or more. The employee just asked us to leave the credit card in the machine until everything was done, never asking about insurance gas or anything. We prepaid for the car and should have only been charged for taxes and airport fees. I look at my credit card and we were charged an extra $100, for gas and insurance we did not ask for. I wrote to Hertz to let them know what happened and they refuse to refund the gas charges or insurance. Horrible customer service you have to email can't even speak with a representative.

If there's negative stars this place definitely deserve it. Most unprofessional bunch of people. Store manager here Fasil understands zero client customer service. We have a business account with them and they never honor any reservation times. Once you show up, they tell you they're not ready,or it'll take too long to process and they will close soon and to come back after the weekends for pick up. Store is dirty and unclean. Avoid at all cost

Overcharged for my rental, and they don't answer the phone to remedy the charges. Very poor customer service. Do not rent from this location.

I had a terrible experience picking up my rental from a different location; Anaheim is where I was returning it. While the return was fairly transactional, the team was unable to provide me with a receipt. They attested it would be emailed same day, which I did not receive for a few days and numerous requests. The team would not speak about why they could not provide a receipt or confirm charges and it was disappointing in how dismissive they were. Cutting to the chase, once I finally received a receipt I was charged for time that I did not have the rental vehicle, which remains unresolved to this day. I would strongly reconsider renting a vehicle from Hertz.

I was recommended to come here by insurance company, but the service was absolutely terrible. The employees seemed very angry and unfriendly. I quickly understood why they have such a low rating.

What an awful car rental company. We picked up our car one day late, however that was out of our control because Hertz wouldn't respond to any of our multiple calls asking if the car was ready or not.The next day, we walked into an unorganized office, which was filled with rude employees and customers that forced their way past us in the queue. My dad is handicapped, and they made him wait longer without any regard for his condition.Even worse, an employee called and told us our car was ready at 9am, but then made us wait another 2 hours when we got there for a supposed "oil change". After we waited 2 hours, they then told us the car still wasn't ready.The branch manager came out to explain the situation and when my dad refuted it, he told my sister and I to "translate it for my dad", assuming he doesn't speak English because we're Asian. It highly offended us as he said it with a racist implication.It ruined our plans entirely and made us realize Hertz doesn't care about anything but themselves and milking money from their customers. Worst service EVER!. Booked a car almost 2 weeks in advance and when I get to the shop the manager tells me "I tried to reach you (lie, an email would have sufficed). We don't have the car and we wont have it today or tomorrow" . When I asked him to give me an alternative, the manager tells me "talk to Hertz, not to me" like if he was working for Avis or Budget. Shame on them . People don't use this one...
