This was my first time visiting this veterinary office. I was bringing in a stray cat that I had to trap to be looked at. And the office was very accommodating. When I walked in the office was absolutely spotless, which isn't usually the case in a veterinary office naturally with animals running all over the place. The staff were welcoming and assisted me with the stray cat so that he could be examined. I really had a great experience from start to finish at this office. I would recommend coming here for your fur babies and or strays that you just don't have the heart to watch suffer. ❤️

It's not the same since the Dr left, the people who are in charge are very disinterested in their work. We talked since the other week and yesterday I spoke again to tell them that I need the prescription to fill my doctor's medicine at Costco and I only have two left and they don't even solve it for me. The staff and all their equipment do not help at all

Called for an estimate price for a particular test but apparently they aren't allowed to give prices over the phone. Once you are charged for an exam, then a doctor can give you an exact price under the doctors discretion. Wouldn't trust it one bit. Steer clear.

Honestly I was a bit nervous and stressed since it's my first visit to take my dog to the vet and all the staff are so nice and professional! The minute we walked in, myself, my dog and mom were taken in a room to start examining my dogs condition "where he does his business". They gave us so much advice about his issues and medication and took us around 10-15 minutes to wait!
I was a bit embarrassed since my dog has weight issues, but they were polite about it and recommended it if we wanted kibble to lose weight. However we had to pay $60 in advance (on call) for a check up and it cost around $180+ for his medications. :) And for those who or has someone speak Spanish, they have a couple staff members who also speak the language!

When making an appointment avoid speaking with Ruth C. She is EXTREMELY rude and VERY unprofessional. She does not give accurate information when it comes to cost. After our visit and paying for our services she very rudely threw the invoice/ receipt over the counter to me. This place used to be a lovely place to take your pets. We would always bring our animals here to be seen. But the staff are rather rude and unprofessional. The female Veterinarian that assisted us was rather pleasant.

TLDR: The vet is fairly cost effective. You will pay less but the quality is not the same as it used to be. I think they may just be too busy. My family came here for all our animals and they are not as expensive as other vets and offer cash discounts for vaccines. I am not sure whether it's just not enough vets or how busy they are, but when your animal gets seen, the doctor is only in the room for maybe a few minutes before leaving. Any follow up questions you have to ask their staff to ask the doctor and play telephone. They don't always listen either. For example, my cat got an upper respiratory infection, it was severe enough that his eyes would get coated in mucus and he wasn't eating anything. I took him to the La Palma and they gave me an antibiotic. Reading the notes it said to give with food and they said flush it down his throat with water as it can cause throat spasms. I asked if they were sure this would be the best medication because my cat wasn't eating. They asked the doctor and the doctor said yes. My cat vomited for the next six hours after the dose as he couldn't tolerate it on an empty stomach. I asked for a new antibiotic and instead I had to pay 80$ for anti nausea medication that wasn't supposed to be given in conjunction with the original antibiotic that made him throw up. I was just supposed to stop the old one. Four days later I finally get an antibiotic. Why they gave me an anti nausea medication instead of just a new antibiotic, I couldn't get an answer. The staff is friendly and it's not a bad place. It's just really busy and it shows in the finer details. When we had to put a kitten down to FIP, we got a card in the mail with their staff expressing condolences. It was an amazing gesture that got lessened when we realized that they spelled his name wrong in 4 different ways throughout all the written sentiments.

Was looking for a new veterinarian for my pup that wasn't too corporate centered! The staff is friendly and loved how detailed the dr was with me. Would recommend

Went here for the first time today and they are AMAZING! They squeezed me in because my dog was needing care ASAP. Everyone was so kind and caring for my dog. Very clean and organized, informative but didn't push to upsell something I couldn't afford. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be back!
