Glad I have this gas station near me, it is usually fairly priced and the staff is always friendly. They also have a service center. I enjoy the atmosphere of this location. As a single woman I always feel safe pumping gas here.

I had the pleasure of working with Sean Maize and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Not only was he incredibly honest and transparent about the work my car needed, but he also went above and beyond to find me the most affordable solution. I've had experiences in the past where mechanics have charged me an arm and a leg for repairs, but [mechanic's name] was different. He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I understood exactly what was going on with my car.What really stood out to me was how Sean called around to find the cheapest way to have my car fixed. He genuinely cared about finding the most cost-effective solution for me and my budget. It's rare to find a mechanic who values their customers like that these days.I would highly recommend the Shell Anaheim Hills Service Center to anyone in need of honest and reliable car repairs. Sean's expertise and commitment to customer service are truly unmatched.

First if all I come here for gas probably every week. Once time i need to use the restroom and at that time the cashier was away. He looked at me then i asked him for the key(he wasn't busy). Then he walked back to the ofc to get the key for me but he was shaking his head and looked so cranky. With his attitude, should you get the key from him? Anyway they should have a sigh the restrooms are for employees only. No more this location for me

I've been meaning to get on here to make a review... back in December I pulled up to get gas and was greeted soon after by one of the employees offering me a $25 gift card to use as either gas or store merchandise! This must be something they do at random during the holidays? :) What a thoughtful awesome surprise! It made my month and brought a smile to my face. Even though this gas station isn't the closest to my home, I will be going out of my way to visit there to purchase gas a lot more in the future because of this awesome act of kindness!Thank you A.H. Shell for your thoughtfulness!

Half the gas pumps are locked, the cashier is never present, and you cannot pay with a card do not come here

Fairly standard gas stations with a mini-mart attached. They do have a service garage which is unusual these days, hence a true mini-mart.Prices are a little higher due to zero competition, but you pay for the convenience of the location. Other than that, the place is clean, fairly easy to get in and out of, and you can use the app to pay which is very nice.

Thank you! I'm very grateful for the honesty and integrity displayed to me here! After being recommended a new tire from Toyota of Orange, I decided to get a 2nd opinion. They located the nail in my tire, to be in the center treads of the tire. Toyota of Orange told me it was near the sidewall of the tire, and they'd be unable to let me drive on a plug or patch that close to the sidewall. Unfortunately Toyota of Orange lied to me, but this Shell station picked up the slack.Instead of spending 200-300 at the dealership for a new tire and install, I spent only $25 for a plug.We all had a laugh at how dishonest Toyota of Orange was to me. I'll be back gentlemen.Everyone is so nice here!

Air Nozzle broken. Nice selection of Vape. The air to fill up the tires didn't fit properly it just blasts air around the stem. Took my two dollars. Went over to Pep boys. I want to give higher review but air nozzle very inconvenient for drivers. Sorry.

A diagnostic done on my car over two days was both good and bad. I learned that I needed a starter and brake work. I was at once impressed and disappointed. They are family ownership with claims to community. But the price is too high. There isn't another gas station like this one, as it combines both corporate logo and procedures with the claim of civic responsibility. I am more acquainted with the son than the father. I have chatted with him professionally, as I am a teacher. He is who he says he is. I wish him well. But the Yelp record is split, and my one review is, precisely. With the pandemic, with corporate procedures on the increase, with civic organization in decline, an authoritarian element prevails in following technologized procedures. It is the sign of our times. The worker administering procedure can choose to be personal or impersonal. I found almost all the employees to be personable. They are all community- and family-rooted, in places like Irvine and Orange. The exception was the service manager Sean, who was rude and curt. Sean yelled. On the phone, he said things like, "Sean, 714-998-3501" and "Okay, bud," and hung up. He yelled at intake: "What's your phone number!" "It's loud here!" When I was on the phone to get the diagnostic, and the worker "Joseph" put him on, there was silence on the line. I had to go along with this procedure. "How's the car?" I said. Sean spoke. Then another thing he spoke sharply was: "785!"--the price for a starter. He wasn't there when I picked up my car. I drove my car away, because it turned out that the starter was balky but still functional. Perhaps the battery that I had put in after three days of no starting had ended up helping a bit, for it did now run. None of this had been on the table with the service manager. He was too intimidating. Asking about a AAA discount wasn't something to bring up either. In defense, a worker said of the service manager, "He gets along with everybody. There's never a problem!" The worker repeated this twice. Then a smile came to his face, for the first time in two days. Apparently, he was describing the experiences of the good reviews on Yelp. But this was not mine, for I was not admitted to such consideration.

Whoever is working on Saturday March 26th at 6:55 pm is one of the most rudest employees iv ever experienced in my life he was very impatient when I had set change on the counter. he had a response "WHAT IS THIS " and also I had asked if there was any free coffee because to my understanding they give out free coffee everyday and he quickly said "No". I felt completely disrespected for the fact that my African American girlfriend said he was even rude to her too . This makes me really upset because every other employee we meet there is very nice and respectfull but not this one he was Asian almost as if he was racially profiling me and my girlfriend . So I whould like to contact the manager for that because that was one of the worst experiences at a shell iv ever had

I’m writing a very, very long overdue review for the best repair shop in Anaheim Hills, Orange County and in my opinion the country! I’ve been taking my cars to Anaheim Hills Shell for over 20 years now. The station owner, Mike Noble, the service manager, Sean Maize, and the entire staff are beyond compare. This is a service station where you can leave your car and say, “Do whatever it needs,” and be absolutely positive you won’t be taken advantage of. This crew couldn’t be more knowledgeable, skillful and honest than they are. I give them my highest possible recommendation without reservation. If you’re looking for a great shop you can refer to as “my mechanic,” this is it. Skip the dealer with their slow service and price gouging and take your car to the best shop around! Rest assured you’ll get great service and reasonable prices.Here’s just one example… In the early ‘90s when I hadn’t been taking my car to Shell for very long, I called and said that it was chugging and stalling and that I needed to bring it in. They asked me if I’d just gotten gas and I said yes. They told me to tighten up my gas cap and see if it stopped. It did. A dealer would have run a diagnostic for $200-500, fixed something that wasn’t broken and charged me a ridiculous amount of money. Shell just shared their knowledge and helped.I’ve noticed that some people have left less than perfect reviews and it’s always about gas prices. Seriously? First, Anaheim Hills Shell is not the only one in control of their prices. The parent company handles that. Secondly, there’s not another gas station for miles in either direction. You pay for convenience and chose to pay the price. Don’t gripe about it.We’ve had hundreds of oil changes, maintenance, tire repairs, new tires, a myriad of engine repairs and even had a new engine put in a Ford F250! They do it all!Love you guys! You’re the best around!

Had a slow leak in one of my tires. They were able to find it quick and plug the hole. Another time car was in for smog check. Out the door fairly quick with smog certification. Thanks guys.
