This is an amazing preschool with great staff. Although our time was short, the experience was tenfold. My son warmed up quickly and learned letters, colors, and numbers. They are a true family. The facility is superb and has ample space for all the children. My son would be so excited in the mornings and wanted to show his independence going to school. Thank you to all the wonderful teachers and Mrs. Bernice Black, who were so welcoming.

There is not enough room in this space to explain the absolute love I have for this preschool. My kids started here when my youngest was 2 and barely speaking and he just graduated their pre-k program and never stops talking now. My oldest was this shy little guy and now is very confident in himself. They always showed absolute love for both of them and my children always thought of them as their home away from home. I couldn't have asked for a more loving environment for my children to grow up in.

Our son has gone here for 2 years. When he first began he was very shy and not all too sure about school/daycare. He very quickly made some friends and began coming out of his shell. He is now very sociable and extremely smart. I.A. has taught him so many different skills and the teachers are real great with the kids. The teachers are very kind and patient with the kids, yet firm in the rules, which we love! Their structure helps our son thrive and continue to learn and grow in a positive environment that also embraces diversity. Our son is bilingual and Ms. Yolanda is amazing at helping to keep both languages fluid in his daily life. We appreciate I.A. so much and our son will be staying here through kindergarten.

We cannot say enough great things about imagination academy! Miss Bernice is an excellent director and so involved with every child and is great with communicating anytime we have had a question or need anything. Our child is a covid baby and was not very socialized when he began and there was lots of tears when we first started school but he has flourished and now he has friends and is confident. Our child is also bilingual and I.A. teach the colors and numbers in English and Spanish and that has helped reinforce him speaking both languages at home and school. We love the school curriculum and that they have everything based off of teaching them something whether it's growing a garden or showing him how to share and respect others. Our son is now four and started when he was two and he will continue going to imagination academy until he graduates from kindergarten! We recommend this day care/school to anyone looking for a trustworthy, clean, fun and educational place to have their child grow.~The Woodrow Wilson Family

We just removed our child from this preschool. I sent them the below message yesterday. The director called me this morning, and told me that it was an "honest mistake" by the teacher, because she didn't know about our "situation". The reason she didn't know? The director hadn't told her, because it's a "private matter" and "not her business". Our family is not a secret. * came home today with two Father's Day crafts. This is very disappointing, as I thought we made it clear that she does not have a father, and instead has two moms. It seems like it would have been a simple change to write/print Mama instead of dad on the inside/outside of the card, and at the bottom of the tool chest, and the graphic could have been left off. If no one knew what name to use, Mom would have worked, or you could have asked us. This especially bothers me because when our older child went to a religious preschool, they still ensured that they used the correct name on these types of items. This is not only an issue because she has two moms. What would be done if the child had a single mother by choice, or if their father had passed away?
