Great Father and Son family run store. These gentlemen are both warm, friendly and considerate.
They are hardworking and honest members of the community. They have great gas prices usually 15c less than Shell or Chevron on Ast.
Please do not hold 1 or 2 posts of bad experience with other person that may have caused displeasure.
Our family has always had positive experience not only in the store but with other customers. This
store stands out as few places in Antioch and East County that is a reminder of honest hard work is a testimony to the local community.

It is Monday, December 30 1109 I live on 19th St. down the street from Joe’s liquor. I’ve been going there for the last 4 1/2 almost 5 years that I’ve lived here and in that time do you know I haven’t had too many instances where things went wrong or anything like that however, there have been a couple Online it shows that the store closes at midnight but when you go to the store during the holidays they’ll let you know if they’re closing at 11/4 and closing at midnight usually during the holidays they are closing at midnight last year they were closing at midnight the year before they were closing at midnight. Yes, every store has the option to change their hours. I am very much aware that how ever they have not done so they have not verbally expressed that they won’t be up been at midnight at all now because I’ve been going here quite a bit. The gentleman that are always there they in the stores if the store is closing at 11 o’clock they will let you know. Hey we’re gonna close at 11 o’clock tonight you know that’s the case, but even when the store is closing at 11 o’clock we all know in retail you don’t close the store 15 minutes before the time that the stores closing you give customers a warning and let them know that the store is closing at 11 with that being said, I was at the liquor stores door at 10:50 actually was like 1048 honestly like I could’ve been like 1045, 1048 because like I said, I live approximately seven houses down no forget me five houses down from the liquor store And this is something that I do all the time I go there on a late night sometimes cause my son, my knee, a snack or forgot to grab his lunch or something of that nature with that being said, I like I said I’ve been going here for almost 4+5 years I get down there mind you someone two people just walk out the store. I’m in the parking lot walking up to the door. They are closing the door not that he is closing the door and closing the gate as well as if he doesn’t see me mind you we’ve made eye contact, but the woman at the register is telling him to continue closing the door, this is the third if not, maybe it could be like the fourth time that she’s done that this month whenever she is there she never wants to be there past the time that her shift ends. We all know that if you work 9 to 5 you don’t clock out until five which means that you have to do all of the necessary closing procedures right that does not mean close 1520 minutes before head to do the closing procedures so that you’re out of there at the time that you’re supposed to be off Once again, I will reiterate this only happens when she is there with that being said, I will be talking to the manager and letting him know how this is disrupting our normal transactions of the day because I’m not the only one that runs there to grab last minute stuff because the gentleman that works there don’t ever try to close before the time that is suggested that they close She’s always in a rush. She makes it very clear. She doesn’t like her job that you work in in my experience the only time employees act like this, when there is no boss around and another employee isn’t backing you because the same employees are the employees that never close the way she’s closing so if all of the other employees are closing a certain way, what makes you so spectacular that you feel like you can close earlier because you want to be home by the time you’re supposed to be off she literally was walking home at 11 o’clock. The reason why I know this is because I had to walk all the way down to Cavallo Road to go to another store to get what I needed from the store for my son for his trip the next day which we’re just some snacks but even still it’s the liquor store and if you’re saying you’re open at a particular time, that’s what you should be doing It just goes to show if you don’t like what you were doing you should not be doing it if you can’t handle it or you can’t do what is needed of you for that particular job for the community

After nov2022 my life have been under attack I bought alcohol on her suppose to be best birthday got drunk in antioch ca .17 blood alcohol level hit inbhead unccontionous how did I get to Santa Clara County truth kidnapped and next day someone withdrew 800 out of ont bank antioch then BOA about the same or more but my account frozen lawyer I paid to defend me didn't he lied to me sent google maps to him where I learned someone was at Campbell u haul it wasn't me I was in jailhouse did I get to Santa Clara

Very racists staff . The guy refused me service because my card declined twice I asked can I try again and he told me no because it cost the store money for me to try my card again after it declines never going here again

It has an authentic charm given the architecture. Come here and pay with cash for a great deal on your gas. The interior is clean and well stocked for those who enjoy smoking and drinking has what you need, little snacks For the hungry traveler, and other beverages for all age types. Support local businesses and help contribute to Antioch's well being by shopping at Joe's liquor and food! Or if you're thinkin like me come here for the gas!!
