We first used Alliance One in 2016. Lori, the tax specialist, was super nice and knowledgable. We kept going to her for the next 3 years. Our tax situation became less complicated and we went to TurboTax for 3-4 years. When our tax situation became more complicated I was afraid Lori wouldn't take us back. Without question, she took us back and was happy to see us! Let me say that she is very professional and easy to understand. She offers other tax advice throughout the year in case you have questions. She takes her time and does the taxes thoroughly, looking for the best avenue to take for filing your taxes. Here's the best part: she is very reasonable in her charges. It's comforting to know you don't have to break the bank to afford to have your taxes done by a professional. I won't be leaving Alliance One again. Honestly, with the tax code changing yearly, I sleep easily knowing that Lori has taken care of us. If you want to have peace of mind throughout the year, go to Alliance One for your tax prep and questions.

Made an appointment with Lori to have a professional do our taxes this year as we had changes that required more than a simple Turbo Tax session. Lori is very knowledgeable, informative, patient & friendly. She answered any questions we had & explained everything to us so we understood the layout of our taxes. She made the experience painless & comfortable & I know we will be back to Lori at Alliance One next year & the years to come.

I have always done my own taxes, but this year with a settlement and some work out of state, I decided to get some expert assistance. Lori is as sharp as they come when it comes to understanding tax code and being up to date with recent changes. She exudes competency! Super organized and efficient, and a nice demeanor too. She found that I owed a small amount to the other state where I worked (I never would have caught that), Not only that, when the numbers indicated that I owed, she set up the payment arrangements with the feds and state, which they accepted. Basically, her work took the panic out of my tax situation and I am dealing with it proactively. She also advised how I can revise my tax withdrawals for the future to avoid owing for next year. Her rates were extremely reasonable for the quality of work she presented. I will be back for 2019!

My future wife came to Alliance One Tax a few years ago after her divorce. A newly single woman with a little girl, Lori helped her do her messy taxes and straighten the mess out left over from the divorce. Lori helped her with her next years taxes by helping her with her deductions and kept on touch with her all year long to make sure she could get a refund the next tax season. She was wonderful! After we got married, Lori helped me with my taxes to make sure I was prepared to file a joint return with my new wife the following year. That year was a disaster for me. I owed a ton! Lori calmed me down, walked me through the process of paying Uncle Sam, and calmed me down immensely. The following year, we filed a joint return with Lori and we were able to payoff what we owed. In short, Lori has been an angel on our shoulders. She should change her business name to Saving You Tax! If you want to have your taxes done by someone and never have to change again, this is the place. Barring doing them myself, I will never go anywhere else.
