This place harasses you for taking money out of your account. Continuously month after month I am harassed by their employees at this location and the location on South St, despicable place. I am sick of this treatment and will be pulling ALL my money out immediately and moving to another bank!

Wish I can give them a zero!! They closed the door due to the covid-19 pandemic and let two people at a time which I totally think is the best for all of our safety. No complaints on that! Let's be safe!! But the senior branch manager was the problem!! I had a check that it needed to be endorsement signed by union bank to be able to deposit it into my other bank account. She did not know how to handle my case and told me that she needed to call. She called but the waiting was 20 minutes. I told her that I did not mind waiting. But another customer came and was waiting at the front door. I assumed that that person was a friend of her or a frequent customer because she knew the name of that person. 30 seconds later she came to me to ask me if I don't mind to leave and call union bank by myself because "my case was not urgent and I can use the 24 hour ATM machine anytime" Really? A check of 9k dollars that it needs to be endorsement signed by the bank?? A 9k dollar check is not urgent?? Just because she did not want to hold the phone more 20 minutes and attend her well known customer!! I am sitting right now at the lakewood branch and everyone is super helpful and really patient with my case. The lakewood branch people are really helping me and they knew what to do. They still needed to call but they helped! Shame on you cerritos branch

I have been with this branch for years and have NEVER HAD QUALITY SERVICE! Every situation Ive had has NEVER been handled in a professional manner. I have had monies taken from my account that were never returned. When the money was taken, I was told that ALL signers would need to be present to close the account. The funny thing is when the account was opened 3 MEMBERS OF CORPORATION WERE NOT PRESENT TO SIGN YET THE BANK GLADLY TOOK THE SIGNED SIGNATURE SHEET AND ALLOWED US TO OPEN THE ACCOUNT. I BET MAHA (BRANCH MANAGER) GETS CREDIT FOR NEW ACCOUNTS!!! Ive been told 3 different answers from 3 different employees and NEVER ONCE has the branch manager offered to step in to resolve a situation. In fact, the ONLY time I have spoken to her was when she called to offer me a business line of credit. They love you when you can give them something. I AM FED UP AND WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. In fact, after reading the reviews from yelp, Im wondering why and how this branch is still in business. I RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING GOING TO UNION BANK THAT YOU THINK TWICE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEYOND POOR AND YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER!!!!

The worst customer service I have experienced Today I went to inquire about CDs they advertised I had received a flyer in the US Mail After entering I stood there for several minutes not knowing who to ask for They did not have a sign in sheet Since no one approached me I went to the tellers line I intended to ask them who to see to open an account Shortly after a woman appeared and told me that she was busy with another person and that she had a second party also waiting to see her She stated that she was the only one there who could help I asked her if I could take an application with me and return at a later date/time She replied NO I left Don't think I want to do business with any bank that doesn't have time for me I did not feel valued as a customer

I have never had a problem in this bank until today and the manager is nothing but a waste of time. All for a damn stamp. I requested a bank statement for my broker and a stamp for verification since the bank that was holding escrow was tight. The lady I talked to said they do not have a stamp and even told it to the manager. Then the manager offered to give her business card as verification like what??? I need a stamp not some person's business card, like how does that make any sense? Is the bank in escrow gonna say that it's proof that the statement is real because of a business card that you could pick up anywhere in some dusty counter? The manager was rude and merely kept calling me as a customer and am not allowed to get a stamp. She kept saying it's under their guidelines and it's "internal" so they could not stamp it unless it's something like an endorser. NIBBA IT'S JUST A DAMN STAMP. And it just stung a little when she kept calling me a customer because I have been a member here for several years. I even called my broker to speak with her over the phone and she did not let her defenses down saying they are not allowed to stamp the statement. In the end we had to go all the way to a Union Bank branch in Lakewood just to get a stamp while I was on the phone with my broker venting our frustration and saying how stupid the manager is. All the time wasted just for a fxxking stamp. The pictures attached shows the stamp of verification I got from Lakewood after and the "lovely" manager's business card from Cerritos.

I didn't get the same stellar service from Devon Tovar like the previous review. She was snotty, unapologetic and had an off putting attitude. She was busy helping the other teller with his issue while helping me. She didn't acknowledge me, just nodded that she was ready for me and when she asked me if I wanted my cash all in hundreds, I replied with a "no, I want $50's too". She didn't ask how much and continued to get the cash, when she counted it to me, it was all $50's. I told her that I wanted some $100's too then she walked away with an attitude. I reminded her that she was talking and multi tasking with the other teller which is probably why she didn't hear me. No apologies or whatsoever. Just plain rude and snotty!

I went to cash a check , I'm bank of America customer, and they ask me for 2 forms of id and charge me ten bucks to cash my check, when last time they charge me only 8 bucks. Plus the guy was rude when i ask him why they need a second form of id, that it wasn't enough with my driver license.

Closed my account with no warning. And when I did have an account, the Asian male teller would ask what this account was for. None of you business. This bank sucks.
