I'm beyond disappointed with this location for many reasons but today was it for me! I bought a Walgreens brand heating pad that didn't get hot. Being a senior citizen who has to rely on rides, I went to return it. Even though Walgreens is printed on the pad, seeing that it is brand new, I was told I couldn't return it without the box. If I kept the packaging from everything purchased I would be considered a hoarder. I will not patronize Walgreens ever again. No wonder this location has only 2 stars. The store is dirty and rundown. Shame on you Walgreens!

One of the female managers who closed tonight was super rude. As I walked up to the counter for a return, befor closing, she said she couldn't do it without a receipt before I even got a word out, trying to rush me out the door. Then I said I have a receipt and while I was pulling it up, she said she couldnt do a return without the barcode and she needed me to leave. I then told her I did have a barcode that I was in the middle of pulling up. And by pulling up I mean just pulling out my phone with the receipt already loaded. I would include her name in this review but she was not wearing a name tag.

I have came to this Walgreens for years and never really had an issues but some people that work here have really bad attitudes and this time I came on Christmas Eve, I came across the cashier with the worst of attitudes. Let me start by saying if you don't want to work on Christmas Eve then go home. Don't roll your eye at customers and make annoying sounds under your breathe because you want to be home for the holidays. First she doesn't even say Hi as I approach the checkout, then takes my items rings them up and leaves them there, wasn't even going to offer me a bag. Then looks at me like it's my fault for asking for a bag, didn't know bags were in such a demand that I have to ask for them. On top of it I tell her Merry Christmas and doesn't even say a word, wow she seemed like she hated life, I went to inform the rest of my family still shopping about this woman's attitude and as I exit the store she is starring me down, Walgreens I know you can do a better job of hiring your employees, or maybe this is the reason this location has 2 store review too. I really wish I would of got her name.

Put in a prescription and she said, "let me check that it's in stock." She comes back and says, you can wait 20 minutes or come back later today and says she has to keep my prescription paper. I came back later, waited in line only to be told that it was out of stock. Two days later I am back to get it and still have to wait even longer to get it filled. What did they do all this time and why wouldn't they tell me up front that it wasn't in stock so I could have gone somewhere else rather than suffer through this toothache for these few days.

Had an appointment for a vaccine at 4. Showed up early and walked up to the Consultation window and the disinterested pharmacist told me to go sit in the chairs and someone would check me in. 10+ min later, nothing. Walked up to the pick up window and the guy tells me I was supposed to wait in the pick up line. He processes my check in and tells me to stand next to the sign that says for vaccine administration. We've been standing here for more than 40 min and no one has done anything. They have 5+ workers and they're just ignoring people waiting in line for the vaccine. Never coming to this location for anything again. Useless.

There's a reason they have poor ratings. Manager Ryan is lazy and rude. Instead of trying to help or explain more clearly why I couldn't return an unopened item (which the very nice and helpful employees at the Lakewood Walgreens told me over the phone was acceptable), he took his sweet time buying his Cheetos, and basically rolled his eyes at me when I was being polite about my valid inquiries. He just kept saying it's the store's policy, however nowhere on my receipt nor on Walgreens website did it state the item was nonreturnable. In fact the receipt said "easy returns." This guy's attitude and laziness is not management material. He acted like I was majorly inconveniencing him to do HIS JOB. I regret apologizing for the bother. It didn't make sense to have to drive across town to a different Walgreens for a valid return. I finally got through to Corporate, and the HELPFUL customer relations rep was very competent at her job, explained everything clearly, and gave me a refund. And no, I didn't go Karen on anybody. Is it too much to ask for basic customer service/help these days? Apparently yes at Artesia Walgreens. Please save yourself from frustration and go to a different location.

This pharmacy have lied to me from day one when I first took my prescription to them the tech lies about talking to your doctor to being out of stock to telling you to tell your doctor to prescribed you something else so out of line wants you to suffer had my prescription for 3 days never once call my doctor and stated my doctor didn't send what they needed too lieing on me told my doctor I picked my prescription up and said I was going to somewhere else which I never stated that when I did go up there she told me they wasn't going to be able to fill it to they out of stock to tell my doctor to change my medication she was so out of place. I'm suffering in pain can't sleep I feel they pick and choose who to give what to I feel discrimination seriously I do they are the worst. And God sits high and looking low and thou shall not lie.

I made an appointment for covid vaccine 3 weeks ago after the first vaccine which was by appointment as well. I planned it according to the needs and schedule of my family. My gripe is that I waited 42 minutes to get vaccination. Persons without an appointment (walk ins) were taken before me. Pharmacy worker deemed overwhelmed and busy and said they are taking walk ins in addition to me. ????? Not appreciated. I will not be making appointments at this site anymore. On a positive note... the nurses who administered the vaccine were great both times.

Pharmacy Staff told us they going to give the medicine before they take their break and they lie, just left us hanging waited for 30 minutes and they left us and took their break didn’t even acknowledge us, we’ve been waiting, don’t go to this place bad service.

Low customer service, I went inside the store, there's a young black girl worker was very rude, not even say hi or offering help to the customers, she just ignored us. If you don't like your job please just stay home, you have to know how to treat the. customer.

Very bad service. My wife them to conform that prescription are ready for pick up and they confirm that it is ready for pick up. When I went the store and asked for prescription, then what said that it is not ready yet. After 3 hours, I went again for pick up and there was issues in address and phone numbers. I called to my doctor and she confirm the prescription on phone with representative, then she gave me. So very time consuming.

This is my goto pharmacy but they are SO slow and inconsistent. Why tell my doctor that my prescription is ready for pickup when it in fact is NOT? Get your s*** together.
