Ive been going to Shelby for years and realized Ive never left a review. I no longer live in Bakersfield and still travel from San Diego to have her do my hair. My hair is consistently gorgeous, healthy and holds up during my visits. My hair looks forward to my appointments.

Hair inc is a chic gem salon that I’ve been coming to for several years. Shelby is a great artist and creator & is consistently great with my hair. I enjoy coming to Hair inc making my hair looking sparkle fresh and her coloring is comparable if not better than Bay Area salons.

I have been getting my hairs cut at Hair Inc for 10 plus years. Shelby takes pride in her cuts, she makes sure that your cut is what you want and is not scared to let you know what she thinks.(if it will work with your face/style). Her attention to detail is spot on. The location of the salon is in the heart of downtown Bakersfield. The new remodel of her place looks great! The tin ceiling and brick accent wall make the place feel like you are somewhere else besides a Hair salon. Shelbys attention to details and hospitality keeps me coming back every two weeks! Check it out it is connected to the historic Fox Theater!!!

I love my hair cut and color by Shelby. She goes above and beyond for customer service. Quaint little shop, ample parking and great rates. I will continue using Shelby when I come down.

Shelby has been cutting my hair for over 5 years now and I will continue going to Hair Inc. as long as she'll have me. Totally professional, super personable, always flexible and so gosh darn easy to talk to when you're sitting at her station. I recommend Hair Inc. to anyone and everyone who'll listen.

I love going to Shelby @ Hair, Inc. in downtown Bakersfield. Her salon is small and intimate. You feel like you’re in your own private salon. Shelby always knows how to listen to your ideas and use her own expertise to give you a great cut & style every time. Very reasonable rates and minimal wait times for appointments.

When we relocated to Bakersfield, I had a hard time finding a hairstylist who 1) actually contacted you back, 2) met with you during your booked appointment, and 3) really knows their stuff. Shelby has met that criteria and more! In addition, she did a wonderful job with designing the inside of the salon. Shelby also cuts my kid's hair. As for parking, you can park right in front (street parking) or park down the street for a more designated area of parking (FYi - I've never had to pay). Shelby is easy to work with and very friendly, she is the one you want out here!!
