I’ve been a member for over 15 years now at Valley Strong and i cannot say anything bad about this institution.Their exemplary service is unmatched.All the staff are kind ,courteous and attentive .Their core values are STRONG.I recently sat down with one of the consultants named Nancy Guillen and she is superb.She met me at not only on a professional level but also at a personal level as well..I will continue to promote Valley Strong ,in fact all of us in our family circle now go to this institution.More Power to you ,Valley Strong!

Staff was great! They answered all of my questions. I switched to Valley Strong, because I was a Chase customer for years and I just couldn’t handle all the fraud that was going on with my accounts. My son is a Valley Strong customer and he recommended me to you. He said he’s never had a problem with your bank and I can see why the staff is very accommodating and willing to help.!

They make you wait over 2hrs to open a business account then when it’s your turn the really really heavy set receptionist let’s someone else go in front of you because their accounts easier to work with. Then manager comes in and kicks you out for speaking up. Will never bank with them again.

Valley Strong (aka Kern Schools Federal Credit Union) has always been a credit union I can trust! They catch frauds happening and quickly resolve any issues. Recently my checking account was compromised and they refunded all the monies that was taken! THANK YOU!

I was in a tuff spot with a major auto repair - motor replacement. Long story short even with extended warranty and extended manufacture warranty for the eco diesel the local Dodge refused to cover the problem siting that the seals are not covered. After exhausting all options with the dealership and their corporate resources I had to take out a loan to cover the majority of the repair. Nancy at the Buena Vista Branch was very helpful and I did not feel judged or embarrassed 1 bit admitting I needed the loan for this issue. In the end I was approved with a better rate then that online company that has a stadium down south with their name on it. Just goes to show, the local guy sometimes can it done better then the online options. Thank you ?

Update to my previous review. Regards to use caution of using this bank for loans. Their credit reporting of 30days is not accurate. I posted this review a couple of days ago. I received a response from Nicholas to contact loan director to discuss. I called, left a message to return my call and as expected no one has returned my call. Terrible customer service am sure Nicholas was a bot and not even real person. Will refinance my loan to get it to a bank with accurate credit reporting and better customer service. O vote for best credit union in town.

I’ve been going to this bank for long time, including back when it was Kerns. Matter in fact I didn’t know about the name change and thought a different bank moved in. Never had any unpleasant experiences there; Only had one minor issue regarding transaction and that’s it. Although I haven’t gone inside for awhile, I’ve walked in with my motorcycle helmet since they know me but I wouldn’t encourage new customers to do it.
