I have spent money at Uhaul for several years, and as of today that ends permanently. I went to rent a utility trailer, which I've already done 3 times this year from THIS exact location with NO PROBLEMS, and was refused service. Not only was I refused service from the employee and the manager on duty, but also from their corporate management representatives. Why? I'll tell you gladly: I had completely filled out their online form in advance (name, phone, address, cc, vehicle make/type/plate#, photos of my DL front/back, wife's phone#) and went inside with my DL and the credit card I used to pay in advance. After giving the gal at the register my name and #, she tells me she needs to call my phone to verify that it's ME. Uh, I'm standing here with my LICENSE AND CREDIT CARD, how is that not verification enough? My wife is in the car, the car is running, and I'm in a hurry to just haul some of my crap to the dump, so now I'm annoyed with the inconvenience and ask to speak with the manager thinking he'll listen to reason, and was sadly mistaken. I concede and grab my phone, bring it in, they call, it rings...good, right? NOPE. NOW, they need to call my alternate contact, which is my wife who is in the car. They call HER and she doesn't pick up because she doesn't pick up for random #'s, so now I have to get HER to answer so we can get on with our Sunday. All done? HELL NO! She finally asks me for a 3RD NUMBER. I tell her "I don't HAVE a 3rd number, just my wife and me." She responds with "I need the number of a friend or somebody else." WOW. To rent one trailer to take for a few hours, I have to not only give all MY info, but now friends' and my family's information as well? You don't even have to do this with rental cars!!!! They tell me this is their "personal assurance policy" so that they can annoy all your friends if you steal their s**** First of all, I paid for the insurance and second, I asked if I could just put down a deposit. Wouldn't a deposit for the trailer be better than a phone number or two? I guess not! Their corporate office told me that I can either give them that info or go somewhere else. Just so you know, fellow Yelpers: what they are asking for is a major VIOLATION OF PRIVACY. What happens if a battered spouse is trying to move away from her abusive husband? What if you don't want people know when you're away from your home? What happened to YOUR personal assurance? Trust me on this, find a new place to rent from because after their horrible decision to make this their "policy," Uhaul is about a year or two away from having to sell all their gear and locations to business owners who actually care about their customers.

Awful experience with a power-tripping associate. I didn't catch his name but look out for the 45-year-old-man-living-his-mothers-basement look. He wouldn't rent to me because someone else from 11 years ago WITH A SIMILAR NAME was on a "do not rent list". I dismissed it and my friend stepped in to rent it instead (seeing as he would be driving it for me anyway) and he REFUSED to rent to anyone in my party because of some arbitrary rule he seemingly made up on the spot. When asked for proof of this obscene-sounding "rule" he asked us to leave. Egomaniacal and discriminatory establishment. Do not recommend.

These people are so RUDE! I've rented from this same location for YEARS! I just returned a truck Monday morning and my husband thought he left his card and ID in the truck we called TWICE that night before they closed talked to someone who "passed" a message along, the next morning I called again and I'm explaining the situation and that this is my THIRD time called and she was laughing at me! And I wasn't irate or anything I was speaking to her calmly but obviously I'm upset and MARTHA thought it was funny to laugh at my situation! THEN I spoke to the "manager" because NOW I'm upset and he is just uninterested in my complaints. I will never use this location again.

Alex and Jose were great trying to help me but I didn't have reservations and would have had to wait 3 hrs so recommended the one on white lane who did it right away. Was disappointed I could not rent from them but was rushed. They both treated me respectfully, very helpful and would deal Wittgenstein anytime. Great job helping me. Thank you both.

Terrible, rude, gouge you on quoted prices and the manager is the worst. Go elsewhere or be insulted and left to wait while the phone and counter get priority. Forget an appointment, forget a price quote, forget this shoddy operations

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. I regret going to this location. I had THE WORST customer service experience ever here. The manager John K. was servicing me but kept putting my services on hold to argue with another customer or disappearing. I got there at 10:45 for my appointment and didn't leave until 11:30. Near the end of the transaction John made Juan help me. We finalized the order and then apparently John forgot to charge me for the additional parts I needed for the 5'í—8' trailer I was renting, so I was charged an extra 25. Then I guess one of the parts was not counted for. Juan wanted to give me $25 off for the bad service, but then John suddenly took over and only gave me $15 off even though I was told $25. So with all the crackheads outside loitering, their credit card machine kept freezing, their lack of communication, terrible service from the MANAGER of all people, this was by far the WORST customer service experience I've ever had.

Just rented a 10' truck from this business. HORRIBLE IDEA! Staff was so rude it was beyond ridiculous, Literally HATED there job more than life and that showed in there lack of customer interaction and super bubbly attitudes. I would NEVER go back here again to be so disrespected.

Horrible service, even more - no service at all! Just left this location. We came with my husband and 7 months old daughter from Los Angeles to buy a truck for our business. We called twice today and it was promised us over the phone, we can buy this truck today and it's ready for sale. And now Jose the supervisor just said us, he has promised to sell this truck to Steve, I don't know who is this and we can not even take a look at this truck. It's not ready and it's not for us. I was trying to clear everything with their main office in Arizona and he was yelling on me and very rude. He didn't want to speak with me at all and then I was asking to provide their license number and see their franchise, he translated me to his boss. Ok , we hope it will work with another location. Be aware, very rude and aggressive. Not even told to us - we apologize for this inconvenience.

Horrible customer service. I had a blowout and I thought I was lucky that it happened right by the Uhaul shop. They refused to help me and told me to call roadside assistance, even though they had several other trailers they could have given me. It will be over 3 hours before I get back on my way, even though they sent me out with an unsafe tire.
