This place is great—it has all imaginable wines, curated by Gerald, who’s also great to talk to. He knows a lot about wine and helps you find the best match for your taste. Congratulations, Gerald!
By the way, you’ll only find great wines and spirits here—don’t ask for an iPhone charger or special C4 energy drinks, he doesn’t have those :-)

What a great find! The wine (and beer and spirits) selection here is amazing! And the recommendations are absolutely curated and professional. I highly recommend coming here if you are
1) looking for some hard to find wine (he carries stellar boutique CA producers, world class well known names and everything in between that is worth tasting, all taste-tested)
2) don't know what you're looking for and need recommendations
3) looking for high quality great wines and spirits
4) don't want to over-pay (prices are some of the best I've seen for same label/vintage.
This is my new go-to shop for CA and European wines, beer and spirits and especially if I need a recommendation or want to try something at the tasting bar before buying.
Bravo to Gerald for curating such a great selection and making it available to us!

Visited while on vacation recently on recommendation of a family member. Gerald was extremely helpful and put together a great selection based on or preferences and budget. Quirky little shop in Burlingame, with a surprise at every turn.

Bewildering array of an insane collection of quality brands, popular crowd, pleaser bottles, and many unique and unfamiliar logos all crammed into a tiny little cool city shack. This became a museum for my little mixology nerd which likes to break out into random festival. Seeing anything that I do not recognize. If it wasn't for my friends, I would have spent a good two hours here! We found the owner to be a bit reclusive but helpful. There is so much to browse and pricing wasn't obnoxious considering California.

I’m a rookie in wine. I want to know my preference about varieties of grape. I asked the staff to recommend some glasses of wine. It was a great time to enjoy and learn about wines in the tasting room, and his comments about the wine were really helpful. Additionally, he has a great website to assist me in my wine journey. Exceptional experience with Weimax, where Gerald helped me deliver a birthday present to my god daughter in a nearby town. He gave me some good advice, wrapped the wine beautifully and delivered it promptly, and mailed me the receipt. I couldn't have been happier. Thank you Gerald and the Weimax team!

What a hidden gem! The gentleman there was super nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!! A lot of cool and rare bottle. We will come back for their wine testing next time!

I love this wine shop. They have a vast selection of wine for any budget and occasion. The store is easy to navigate. It is the epitome of a mom and pop store. The staff is so knowledgeable and approachable. Good people here. The owner adds a very thoughtful and unique touch, by penning a description of each wine you purchase reflected on your receipt. I will almost always come here for my wine needs. *They also happened to have a very rare bottle of whisky that I have not been able to find elsewhere.
