Dennis & Marge are great hosts and a lot of fun to visit with. Breakfast's are 1st class and the Inn's location is perfect for visiting Calistoga and the NAPA valley area.

Loved staying here and enjoyed the company and storytelling with owners Dennis and Marjorie during our happy hour wine and cheese visit and delicious breakfast, . I’m a country girl at heart, and loved the setting amongst their vineyard and chickens! Highly recommend!

Our first visit to Calistoga, and we loved our stay at the Bear Flag Inn. There is a main house with several bedrooms for guests, and there is also a cottage. We stayed in the cottage for 5 nights. It’s charming, rustic, relaxing and peaceful. There is a beautiful pool right in front of the cottage. Only 1 mile from downtown. Wonderful breakfast served each morning. Dennis and Marjorie are so sweet, and so interesting. The pictures are of their rooster and chickens and of the backyard.

Everything you could want in a classic bed & breakfast, including a delicious farm fresh breakfast. Great location, great hosts, couldn't have been any nicer.

A nice rustic B&B, in a secure location and parking, minutes from downtown Calistoga by car. Excellent WIFI, with great privacy.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of August. We had a wonderful time, and Dennis and Marjorie are fantastic hosts. The breakfast every day was spectacular, and the wonderful conversations we had over breakfast or the afternoon wine time with Dennis and Marjorie and the other guests were a nice addition to our visit to the area. We will definitely stay here again.

Dennis and Marge made my first time in Napa Valley one to remember. Their home is gorgeous and they really do an amazing job as hosts. We got to know them well during the happy hour where we enjoyed several glasses of complimentary wine made from grapes grown on the property. Breakfast was delightful and delicious and the other guests were very friendly. We got to enjoy as much interaction as we wanted, though privacy was very easy by going to our room or spending time poolside. This was my first experience at a B&B and has definitely set a high standard for the future!

Dennis and Marge were incredible hosts. We had a short, but wonderful stay at the Bear Flag Inn. We checked in a little late, but Dennis greeted us promptly and showed us to our room. We settled in and were invited for a glass of wine. We stayed two nights and both evenings were spent enjoying delicious wine and great conversation with our gracious hosts. They accommodated earlier breakfast both mornings of our stay, both of which were delicious. Will definitely be back if we ever return to the area. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience!!

I booked two nights at the Bear Flag Inn the day of. I called, and Dennis made sure I could get into my room even though I would arrive quite late. I hadn't planned on spending much time at the place, but once I sat down for breakfast the first morning and was treated to amazing eggs benedict, english muffins, coffee, and experienced Marjorie and Dennis's kindness and hospitality I decided to stay in a bit more and soak up the beauty of the place and the stories of the hosts. I highly recommend!

My wife and I spent a wonderful anniversary weekend with Dennis and Margie. They went the extra mile and made our stay very special. We loved so many things about Bear Flag Inn....the scenic surroundings, the peace and quiet, the delicious home-cooked and beautifully presented breakfasts, the wine and cheese on the deck every afternoon, the interesting history of the Inn and its surroundings that Dennis enthusiastically shared with us and our clean and comfortable accommodations. We had fun watching the hens managed and protected by an elegant rooster parade across the deck and around the property. We also loved the Inn's proximity to Calistoga. We're looking forward to our next stay.
