Hi...I have been visiting this clinic for years!!! Dr Hanser was always patient and caring. The clinic went through major changes this past year and I was concerned. Well, it is still great. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Dr Anderson is also patient and kind with my dog. Very complete in explanations. The staff are wonderful (thank you Lupe). My Lucy girl loves it there. Quality care with smiles.

Made an appointment for my baby. She has allergies, and needed something for anxiety as the 4th was approaching. They treated her with care, and answered all my questions.

Could not thank you all enough! Thank you Sandra!! Very very kind and sweet staff. I called over several different facilities for a same day appointment as our Bullmastiff needed to be seen. Sandra got us in the same day! Also, Dr. Anderson is great too! Thanks to Central Animal Clinic, our pup is fast tracking his way to a speedy recovery.

I've had very good experiences with Dr Hanser and her team. I first met her during the pandemic when my son brought in a stray kitten. She was totally upfront and honest about his condition, which wasn't the best, gave her recommendations, kept it honest if we wanted to take him to the hospital and invest all this money but there could be a chance he doesn't make it so make him comfortable and just continue to love on him and she did what she could at her office and it wasn't crazy high cost. Fast forward a year later, he made it! But there was an incident where he had to have an obstruction surgery, seen her after and was happy to know he lived longer than what was expected but kept it honest again, changed his diet on prescription food right away and now we do our yearly visit. Just seen her recently and she gave us good news on how he's doing. Thank you, Dr Hanser and team!

I am dismayed at how bad this clinic is run. We scheduled a surgery to fix our newly adopted stray and on the night before the surgery the vet suddenly cancelled. So we rescheduled for 2 weeks later and the night before the vet suddenly cancels again. We could have and should have gone literally anywhere else and will absolutely never return to this hot mess of incompetency that is the Central Avenue Animal clinic. Is the vet the incompetent, disorganized, inconsiderate train wreck or is it the staff? Or is it both? Really it doesn't matter. What matters is I would not trust anyone at the Central Ave Animal clinic to manage to order lunch much less operate or care for my dog.

My previous vet had a 2 month waiting period for routine appointments. That's just silly. Got referred here by my mom, and was able to book an appointment in days, not months. Got my pet seen, meds prescribed and done. They work fine with Chewy, so I can order refills on the meds. Staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Dr Amsel is awesome. I have a new vet and I'm stoked.

Dr. Hanzer & the staff were great. Charlie (dog) was too far gone to be saved but the care he received was wonderful. Dr. Hanzer took the time to explain everything with great "bed-side" manner. I wish I would have come here 1st instead of trying another vet first but I was unaware of this clinic initially.
