The CVS pharmacy on Mission Oaks in Camarillo is one of the top pharmacies that we have ever used. The pharmacist and the pharmacy staff are professional, accurate customer oriented and help us to ensure that all our prescriptions are filled in a timely manner and even ensure in advance that we are getting refills Prescribed by the doctors to ensure that they get filled in a timely manner. We appreciate the professionalism of the staff and the pharmacist and do all of our personal medication‘s that are needed at this particular pharmacy. We highly recommend to use this CVS on Mission Oaks and Camarillo.

Man, no wonder so many people are switching to getting their prescriptions filled from delivery services. This pharmacy was SO inconvenient. I switched my son's prescription to this CVS since we moved and his prescription was previously with CVS so I thought it would be so easy. I got an email that the prescription had switched and been ordered and they would alert me when it was ready later that day which was great because I was off work. There was still nothing the next day so I went in on my way to work and they said it had not been filled and would take an hour to fill because they were about to take a 30 minute lunch break. Great. Wow. So they can't fill it before I go to work, they close before I get off work and don't open again tomorrow until after school starts. So either my son will have to miss 1st period or skip his medication that prevents him from being ill and maybe miss a whole day the next day. With so many reviews about how inconvenient and awful this pharmacy is you'd think someone would do something ?

While this is not my favorite CVS, it meets the Mission Oaks area of Camarillo's needs just fine. This store is super clean. I find it to have some great clearance deals too. Regular prices are hefty, unless you have a receipt coupon. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is a great place to get meds from. And the alcohol section is impressive for a drug store! See website for hours and location. Sign up for the rewards for receipt coupons.

I love the pharmacists at this location, but will not be shopping here ever again. Not only are they severely understaffed, but the staff members who remain are seriously lacking in customer service skills. There was one cashier on duty last night. She didn't bother looking up from her phone to greet me, simply said "cvs card or phone number" when the person in front of me finished. To be honest, he had yet to walk away and it took me a minute to realize she was speaking to me. She rang up my purchase without a word, other than "it will ask you how you want your receipt in a minute.' I entered my debit card and requested cash back. She said "Oh, we can't provide cash back at the moment" and pointed to a hand printed note on the register. I assumed that she had cancelled my transaction, but looked down to see that it had gone through. "I'm sorry - I didn't notice the sign." She just looked at me. "It appears the system debited my encounter for cash back." To which she responded "I don't think it did." ?? "Well, yes, it actually shows that I am owed $40 in change." She sighed. "Do you need to cancel the transaction?" "I can't refund your card when you ask for cash back." She just stared at me. I don't know if she expected me to just accept the fact that I couldn't get cash and walk away or what. She finally sighed, again, and said "I'll do it this one time, but you need to read the note." Granted, I should have paid closer attention, but here's how great customer service would look: "Hi, how are you? Do you have a CVS card or phone number? Here's your total - just to let you know, we aren't able to provide cash back at the moment" or, perhaps, since the cashier must approve the transaction prior to purchase, she could have noticed that I had requested cash back and cancelled it before it went through. Evidently she was too busy looking at her phone to do her job. The only explanation I can think of is that she expected me to walk away without my money, and then pocketed my cash to balance her drawer. Never again. Ever.

I went recently to have a rx filled for my husband after a rough visit at the urgent care. We were already tired and exasperated and then we found out our insurance would not cover the medication we needed. Wow! So frustrating! But the pharmacy staff was so kind and Michael went out of his way to find a coupon for us to help with out of pocket expense. It really helped make a bad situation a lot less painful.

Awful pharmacy. They never answer their phone. Then they have the worst attitude when they answer after placing you on hold for a half hour. These people know nothing of customer service. They pretend they are doing you a favor by virtue of them being behind the counter.Mark and the girls in the pharmacy work like interns fresh out of pharmacy school, and treat you like dirt when you point out their unprofessional demeanor. These are children filling your prescriptions. When it gets busy, they get stressed and anxious and take out their frustrations on you. They should not be working in the real world if they cannot handle the stress of interacting with customers.Weak-minded children who pretend they are poor little lambs once you point out their indecency. Back to pharmacy school kids. Do not fill your prescriptions here.

This place normally, great staff, organized and is generally clean. However, the restrooms were borderline mid evil looking. I would love to speak with corporate to discuss bringing on a professional cleaning service program in place.
