On par with reviews regarding the produce. The produce is not very fresh, some even moldy. Today there was mold evident on the corn. When I mentioned to 2 store workers, they seemed nonchalant about it. Maybe not a lot of locals purchasing produce so they don't buy more inventory. Regardless, they need to better manage the freshness/quality of their products.

Best super market in the neighborhood. I go here mainly for fresh produce and they have the best quality in terms of variety and freshness. The store is clean and we'll maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is located right next to ranch market on one side and Marshalls on the other. Ample parking and is not very busy which means you are in and out very quickly

By far the store with the most friendly staff! Michael in the deli department takes great pride in providing excellent customer service and it shows in the product he delivers. His cheery greeting will make your day! The store is well stocked and very clean. Produce is always fresh and presented well.

I've loved this market, its clean & the staff is always personable. This seems to be the common thread throughout most of the reviews & I strongly agree with this. The thing is most of the revues are a couple of years old. My more recent experience has changed somewhat. This is because the quality of the fresh food has slid downward. Straw berries / Black berries I've bought on Thursday have white fuzz on them by Saturday morning & end up in the trash. The 2 for five dollar Avocados, usually you search through the hard ones for a couple you could use within a day or so. Now you have to search through the ones only fit for guacamole for reasonably firm ones & these often some have black inside. Recently I had to search through the packaged tomatoes for something that didn't look wrinkled & within a day the ones I selected started to wrinkle. Now I'm hesitant to buy packaged salami because 2 weeks ago I got a pack that was rancid. I could go on. This all within the last three months & may well be related to the current supply chain issues were seeing everywhere but that said the department managers should be aware when food can be sold or should be pulled from the shelves. Only because of store loyalty I'm hesitant to use the local Safeway or the not so far Lunardis market. The cashiers & cashier support have hung in there during covid, working when a lot of folks wouldn't & for this I'm grateful & want to continue supporting this market. I hope management takes a long hard look at these freshness issues & rights the ship before a lot of unhappy shoppers move on.

I have been a loyal Nob Hill shopper for over 30 years and have watched it change during that time. Their produce department has continued to decline, but today hit an all time low! I visited on a Friday morning at 8am. There was a peach with bites missing in the display, raspberries with actual "fur", old broccoli crowns, soft apples -- and I disgustedly left. A number of things I was looking for were out of stock...again. The checkout line was 5 people deep and only 1 cashier. The meat department was well stocked, and so was the deli and bakery. COVID or not, Raley's is NOT Nob Hill. I will begin shopping elsewhere.

Huge shout out to the checkers at this store, they are always super friendly and helpful. Great deli and fresh bread section. I do feel the more expensive 'organic' fruits and veggies are difficult to differentiate between the 'non organic' options. Bonus: the store is always super cold inside, great place to go shopping on hot summer afternoons.

I've been shopping here for years and years but I seldom visit the Deli. Well....no more. This young man that works the Deli, named Michael makes some serious good sandwiches! I recently got a Dagwood Sandwich and after getting home and everyone having a Bite, I went back and bought 3 more!! All his sandwiches are the bomb!! Go ahead....try one. He won't disappoint as all his sandwiches are made with Love. Actually a shout out to all the peeps working there!! They all go above and over to ensure your Customer Satisfaction.

Heartbroken. Gave the butcher a chuck roast to grind like I do a couple of times a month for taco night. Today instead of grinding the cut of meat I gave him, something else happened in the back where I came home and opened up my supposedly ground chuck to find old grey regular ground meat that looked like it was pulled from the shelves as old product. If Nob Hill would like to take a look at the cameras I'd be more than happy to give exact time and date. Will not ask for fresh grind that close to 5pm ever again but what an awful way to find out. I had throw our the beef because the smell was awful once it hit the pan. Because I was wearing my keys on a lanyard maybe he thought that I was an Instantcart shower and would not know the difference. Wrong. I've been getting fresh ground chuck roast from Nob Hill for over a decade now and I know exact what fresh cut meat looks like. It is not grey by the time you get it home. I'm going to see if corporate can look into what happened and reimburse me once they see proof on film of what I experienced.

Decided to try Nob Hill's grocery delivery service. The delivery person was great, timely, and you can track where the driver is and when he will get to your home. I was disappointed not to receive all the items I requested. I thought it was a big oversight but then saw a list that states what they left out. I wish they would've stated a reason why, i.e. "Out of stock". The biggest disappointment was the super tiny, moldy, very Grey colored, pineapple I bought that was on it's last legs because when I picked it up by the stalk leaves, a bunch of leaves came out. Money down the drain. I will not be eating that. Super disappointed in Nob Hill. Also when you call to ask questions they are not very friendly.

Purchased on Monday, December 28th. Was about to whip up some Hot Dogs and saw that one of the package of Hot Dogs expired. It was like a Ahhwww Oh well I have another pack moment NOPERS!!!! That one expired too! One expired on December 22nd and the other on December 4th. Like bruh... how am I supposed to use or freeze it by a certain date if its beennnnnnn had expired. I know what some of you are thinking, just eat it! You wont get sick or anything. l don't like to take chances. Harrrd pass and straight to the trash. Nob Hill has always been the local go to store, but how you gonna sell something like this? :0

This Nob Hill is awesome! The items are decently priced compared to a very overpriced grocery store chain with one closer to my house. Everything here from their great produce offering to their amazing bakery makes for a one stop shop. The baked good from their bakery are super good. I don't mind driving a bit farther to come here as there's never a question if they're going to have what I'm looking for. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful and they get you in and out satisfied. Definitely the grocery to go to hands down.
