My experience was horrible. No one acknowledged me when I sat down at the bar for about 7 minutes - mind you it wasn’t that busy. 2 bartenders were on the shift. Then after I was noticed I ordered a drink but the way she poured it was so bad. Definitely did way more than 2 ounces of alcohol. It made the drink unbearable to drink- I didn’t even finish it. And then after one of the bartenders made my drink, they walked away and I never saw them again. And the other bartender did not acknowledge me either- they were so focused on who I believe were regulars. Which I can understand keep them happy, but again I was only acknowledged for about 10 minutes- including the 3 minutes when I finally got to order my drink. I wasn’t acknowledged for the other 40 minutes. Instead of someone checking up on me, I had to ask to get the bill. Didn’t even get an answer, just a look and he slipped the bill and I immediately gave him my card that I had holding in my hand or putting it on the bar so they could see it. I honestly could have walked away without paying. But I paid the bill for the drink I barely drank anyway. Would not recommend this bar to anyone I know.

If you like rap that is offensive then this is your place. Paper plate and plastic beer glasses is not a good touch.Got the Crackhead Burger which looked good on the menu and was just ok. Ordered medium rare and came out well done.I am sure there are other places nearby that can do better.Good news is that the server was nice and we were able to have our dog with us.

Love it, good drinks. Though as I was sitting there drinking tequila I could not help but wish there was a fresh or3ser juice from the place next door that I could add shots to... healthy but intoxicating!

The breakfast burrito and avocado toast are amazing. The staff though made it for sure. Helpful and not rushed as we enjoyed being outside

Great open-air vibe, excellent egg-based foods. The breakfast burrito & sandwiches are excellent, drinks are served and are perfectly adequate. Strong college-feel to the scene.

The ambience was great. Dog friendly environment. Definitely a unique and welcoming setup!The breakfast burrito I ordered tasted like the burritos I can make at home. But it was tasty. I liked that the bacon didn’t have much fat on it. And was finely chopped.Apparently I misunderstood the menu and the waitress because I thought the burrito came with jalapeños and chives. So on their menu, the description of one dish is in the same grouped section of the price for a different dish. For some this may be easy to understand. For me, I guess it wasn’t.I enjoyed our waitress’s attitude towards us and our pet dog little Lola very much. She sat with her, treated her with love and asked if she could offer her bacon with whip cream. Lola was delighted!My friend ordered the Breakfast Tots and rated it a 4.

If you ever find yourself in Carlsbad Village and in need of some libations, then Crackheads is definitely a spot to stop. All outdoor seating, that is fun and convenient for people of all types.Our crew routinely stops here and we love enjoying the mimosas. You can't really go wrong at this place.Great ambiance for all, singles, couples, family and even fur babies.

The name is so perfect and fitting that it earns a star through that alone. The restaurant itself is situated next to a bar, both located outside. The restaurant is still perfect for bringing kids as there is enough space to run around a little. They are very pet, friendly as well, offering dog bowls of water, sitting out for them to use. There are two specific reasons on why crackheads is so special. 1. Their breakfast sandwiches are life changing. Fluffy bread with perfectly cooked eggs to your liking and breakfast meat that must be sourced from heaven. I went for their signature crackhead sandwich.. this features a sauce that brings it all home and makes it truly the best breakfast sandwich you can find. 2nd the service by the staff is always top-notch. On top of remembering our faces and carrying out consistent conversations whenever we go.. Berlin, the cashier also is always on top of your needs and wants within the restaurant. She seems to single-handedly give out great service to everybody. We’ve never walked in without getting a smile. Crackheads has definitely become a part of our routine. The good food there is an absolute must, I stand by my statement on their sandwiches… but the service and quickness, considering how busy it is will keep you coming back

Stopped in for some cocktails while shopping around on a Sunday around 12:30pm. Super chill, good music playing. I sat up on the upper deck. Next time I'm down here I won't hesitate to stop in for food and drinks.

This is a great spot to meet up with friends in Carlsbad. It has a modern vibe to it with great food and drink to compliment it. Certain nights they have a food truck come out.

Great food and even better service! Love the staff here! Everyone is so kind and full of energy. Family and pet friendly. Love coming here every Saturday! Even with it being busy, it is a very clean environment!

I'm not from the area, but my family is. Whenever we go to Oceanside I always request this spot for breakfast. They make excellent drinks. My personal favorite is their cucumber jalapeño margarita. I also like to get their loaded tater tots and avocado toast. My family likes their breakfast sandwiches. I highly recommend this spot.

Delicious!!! We got the Spice Girl and Wilbur sandwiches and a side of French fries. The Spice Girl was the perfect size for one person and wasn’t too spicy, just right. The Wilbur had a good ratio of egg to ground sausage and was so tasty! I was surprised the bread wasn’t too filling even though it looks big, but I got filled up on the egg. One side order of fries was big enough for 3 of us to share (if you’re not a fry hog) and they were well-seasoned and slightly crispy. It came with Cholula, regular ketchup and spicy ketchup. We will definitely come back to eat again.I was confused by the layout for seat-yourself but you literally just walk in and sit down and they come to you to take your order right away. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable considering the proximity to the coast. The atmosphere is vibrant with loud music and street traffic.

This place is amazing. I feel they need to put a sign that shows they are open in the morning because people that don't know just look and miss them. We had: 1. Wilbur -sausage mixed with egg and bacon on top. This is delicious 2. Breakfast burrito- i added sausage with bacon burrito. They have a Sriracha sauce and jalapeños were added on the side. The lady who took my order was afraid it would be too spicy,so she placed it on the side 3. Loaded tots- so ginormous is a meal on it's own 4. Macchiato - this blew my mind, the lady definitely knew how to make her coffee. She asked if I wanted it like a cappuccino with the foam or the macchiato we all know from sbux or peet's. What blew me away was she asked me if I wanted a cinnamon steamed milk, which just took it to a whole new level ... I can't wait to come back soon
