One of the most disruptive and discouraging employee groups out there. Some came in loudly singing and screaming it made me hastily leave and was so distracting for shopping. Go to a different store. Clothes are great but atmosphere was super disruptive.

On Nov,11th, my wife bought a Theory cashmere sweater. Just after 2 times wearing, we found there are 2 holes on the sweater, which is an obvious quality problem. On Dec 6th, we brought it back to the store for exchange. To our surprise, the assistant manager ignored the obvious quality issue and rejected the exchange. He told us it's their policy and suggested we could give the sweater to someone for goodwill. VERY POOR QUALITY PRODUCT, THE ATTITUDE & RESPONSIBILITY EVEN WORSE.

Worst place worst service ever since got new manger here, also a very tall and old guy very rude...they are very s*** people I never met ,will not go there shopping again.

The worst experience. Long time customer but last time customer at this location after today's experience with store manager Kim or Kimberly she is all unpleasant attitudes far from customer service. Very rude, and give you nasty looks and not apologetic to giving wrong information to customers. She also gives you one of those evils laughs at the situation. I have never seen anything one like that. She was not nice to the cashier's either. Very demanding and controlling. I purchased a few items and I was told I have 30 days to return I was verbally told "you have 30 days if you change your mind", unfortunately this was not true. I was lied to, deceived and I was made fun of in the store. Please don't buy anything from this store. You can always find deals online or other stores. Please if you buy anything don't be fooled if they tell you you have 30 days to return. Have them hand write, highlight on the reciept and initial what they tell you. Even better, recored the conversation infant of them.- Initially one of the cashier with long hair, I will get her name and update the post. She said she is the manager, but that only lasted 5 min. Then she said the manager is in a meeting. Also she said I can't give you her name, this only lasted 1 min, then she said her name is Kim. I said I will wait here in the store for an hour for how long the meeting is. This lasted 2 min, one of the girls went to the back and brought Kim out. What can I tell you. Really do you have to play this game in a retail store; I wonder what you do in other aspects of you life.

Kim, store manager, and Tahiyra were working. I was there when the store opened, it was just me and another customer. There was a 70% off rack at the entrance of the dressing rooms. I asked Kim if that also received the additional 25% from the sign in the front. Kim said "yes." I took a closer look at the receipt when I got home and the discount was not applied. Called back a few times, no answer , left a few messages-never got a call back.I called back and no help from Kim. Fortunately I called another theory location and they helped me.Tip- check your receipts if you must shop at this location.Tip- create your profile so they can easily track and see your purchasesTip- great selection online. Camarillo outlets has a greater selection and a separate men's store. Costa Mesa and LA have great locations.

I never write reviews. However, this was such a dissatisfaction in customer service and overall kindness that I have to comment. Today I went into return a Christmas present that was past the return policy date of purchase. The woman at the counter went above and beyond to help me. This situation needed manager approval because it was outside of policy 60 day window. 1) the jacket I was requesting store credit for was still for sale in the store. 2) fine if you don't want to make an exception just don't be rude to me.Kim the manager gave me the rudest look, honestly like she wanted me to get out of the store. She was terrible and made me feel bad. I can't believe Theory would have such mean spirited people working in leadership. So disappointing, after being a customer for years I may never return. The male manager at Theory is wonderful but Kim ruins it all. Today, I spent over $800 and feel so bad at the experience I just want to take it all back.

I love the clothes at this store - fashionable, great fit, high quality, good service from the employees, and the discounts are fantastic. The score of 3 stars is based totally on the fact that I have now been to this store three times in a row and the doors are LOCKED with a sign that says they are on lunch break. I drove all the way to the store each time, only to find that they close and lock up to take a lunch break. The website says nothing about this. Be aware before driving to this store!
