It's close to where I live. Units are not plentiful, and are not expensive, and most are not easy to access, hours limited. You have to drive into a narrow entrance... second one now closed... Around a building on a very narrow driveway sometimes shared with moving trucks, then up a stairs, through a code door, down 2 halls that are not well lit..... send larger heavier goods up or down on an elevator you can't ride on. Overall if it weren't close I would not recommend it.

The Hazelwood Allied movers were very professional, hardworking and efficient. From my first call to get a quote, Hazelwood Allied has been very helpful and responsive. On scheduled date, they quickly moved everything in a very safe and skilled manner. Customer service and booking was promp, friendly, and are quick to followup. Me and my family is thankful and very happy with the process. Hazelwood Allied made my moving day much less stressful. Would definitely hire again.

Hazelwood Allied was referred to by my father-in-law who's used their local household move and packing services several times over the years. The team of movers did excellent work with our 4 bedroom home. The move happened within a few days and though there were several problems that arose, communication and coordination between us and the movers made ours a successful move. All my concerns were answered knowledgeably and packing, delivery and local move happened within the time estimated. It was a stressful time for our family but I'm glad to have made the right choice by working with Hazelwood Allied.

I hadn't moved cross-country since I was able to pack everything in the trunk of my car after college. 40 years and many possessions later, I was feeling nervous and overwhelmed at the prospect of moving from Santa Barbara, CA to Pompano Beach, FL this August.

PODs really screwed me over by not having my stuff in town by the time I had to move in. I was on the verge of tears when I called Hazelwood and they were so nice about everything. Not only did they make the move less stressful but they let me use one of their parking lots to place my POD since Goleta doesn’t let you place it in the street. I don’t know what I would have done without them.

After being recommended to Hazelwood by a friend and interviewing 3 other moving companies, I opted to have Casey McCann and Hazelwood pack and move our possessions cross-country. Thanks to Casey and his team, the move could not have gone better. Their prices were reasonable, they were in continued and responsive communication with me throughout the process, and everything arrived as scheduled and undamaged at our new home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommended Hazelwood to anyone contemplating a move - local or long distance. It was an excellent process from start to finish.

From start to finish, Hazelwood provided excellent service. I moved from California to Virginia, and the entire staff was exceptional. My furniture was packed and moved as promised; it arrived as promised, and not a single glass was broken. The packers, loaders, and delivery people were great. The driver, Wagner, was fabulous. Casey answered all my questions. I honestly have nothing but praise and highly recommend.

Your men showed up on time and within 90 minutes my office was loaded onto your truck and on the way to the new location with no scratches, marks, bumps or challenges. They unloaded and positioned all equipment and furniture as requested and were gone by 11:00 AM. WHAT A TREAT!

Hazelwood has moved me twice in the past 7 years and both times they made the move very pleasant. The first move was cross country and the second was just to a local storage unit. They were efficient, accommodating, and reassuring. I would highly recommend.

Great company and great moving experience! The McCanns are fantastic. I stored my belongings in a unit for 3 months and found the unit clean and easily accessible. They were also very accommodating when I had to upgrade to a larger unit at the last minute. They use Allied for moving services and every one of my belongings arrived safe and sound. My driver Francisco and his partner Miguel were excellent and pleasant to work with. Definitely consider Hazelwood Allied for your moving and storage needs!

We used Hazelwood for a move from California, to Arizona, in October 2016. Their rate was (surprisingly) as competitive as the online brokers (vultures) who came at us with all sorts of promises. But some online research confirmed that many of them were going to contract the work out to someone else less reputable, and in the end we felt much more comfortable with a local provider. Hazelwood were also much easier to work with than other national chains and willing to come out and give us an in-person quote within a couple of days.
