Went in to get a transmission change for my Jeep Compass and was way cheaper than the dealership. Mike was extremely helpful. Will definitely go again to get my car serviced in the future.

Update from review left on 1-16-24 Totally crap service. I was amazed how fast he seemed to fix my vehicle. What a joke. Mike begged me to post a good review for him as he needed it for his business. He even told me what to write. After returning 4 times with the same issue, I am disgusted with Aamco and Mike. Initially I went to Aamco and specifically asked for my transmission to be checked as I was having shifting issues. Mike called me to say it was a bad ABS module and everything would be great as my transmission was in perfect condition. 2 thousand dollars later it was good to go. The light came back on three days later. Because of the holidays and their supposed appointments, I couldnt get back in until Jan. 16. Mike called me to tell me the mechanic forgot to hook up a ground wire, it was fixed and recalibrated and good to go again. The next morning as I was leaving the light came on again! I went straight to Aamco. Mike told me they would check the module again. He didnt understand because it was supposed to be a new module. One hour later he calls me to say " sorry you need a new transmission and he will give me a deal for 4 thousand dollars"!!!!! I asked what happened because he assured me the transmission was in great condition and he said " Oh it must have been an electrical issue". I refused the service. I went to get my vehicle and he informed me he had located a used one for me, of course I have to go 60 miles to pick it up and pay for it but he would gladly install it for free! I again refused his service and left. I made a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer affairs. I'm out over 2 thousand dollars and have a vehicle I cannot drive as it is unsafe shifting.

If you're in need of any auto repairs go see Mike Maloney @AAMCO in Cathedral City! I can't begin to tell you how hard it is to find Honest auto repair centers. After two different auto mechanics telling me I needed new transmission at a cost of $4000. So a last ditch effort I took the car to AAMCO and come to find out they didn't think it was the transmission, but the computer. I gave them my car and the next morning I received a call from Mike letting me know they checked everything out and all it was a short in the wiring system. After all I went through, I only ended up paying $600 and then I had them do a full service on the car. Win Win for everyone. I've back three times with other cars all with the same great service.

Great service! My transmission had to be rebuilt. Mike worked with the warranty company to expedite the process. I drive for a living, so time was critical. Emilio and Armando got it done! Thanks guys, I will recommend.

The manager, Mike is really great at customer service. He really keeps you in the loop as to what is happening to the repairs on our truck and they were done timely. How could you ask for more! Thank you for all you did to get us back on the road.

Mike the manager is very great. He provided a great customer experience to me and my family. He was able to get my car running in and out. This place is the best I have ever visit in The Valley. Mike, Emilio, and Armando are the best people I have ever meet. Kudos to this place and its employees. I will definitely recommend this place to family and place.
