I refinanced my auto loan with this company and have been so grateful ever since. My interest and monthly payment was significantly reduced. They are very flexible with late payments as they allow about a 10-15 day grace period and offer the ability to skip a payment one month and move it to the end of your principle loan with only a small fee. I recently have not been working as I will be starting a new job and the staff was kind and considerate as they have waived fees as a courtesy and accepted late applications. They really seem to strive to put you in the best financial position rather than take your money. Thank you MCCU staff!!!

So I change my car payment date from the 22nd of each month to the 1st and was told in order to do so I would need to make double payments in the same month. So on the 22nd for the full amount and than again a week later for the full amount again. This is absolutely ridiculous and inconvenient for someone that needs the date changed to ensure payments are never missed to them in the future. I had to change the payment date to be responsible and they take advantage. Rather then simply adjusting the interest owed on the next payment like every other bank does, they put you in a difficult financial position. My mistake for refinancing with a tiny bank that clearly does not put customer convience first. I will be refinancing away from this bank as soon as possible and never doing buissness with them again.

I went yesterday to open an account. I just gotten out of the hospital. We a)so had just moved from upstairs to downstairs. So because the apt @ was different they would not open an account. Even after I showed them I had the correct apt on my cable bill they still refused saying they needed more!! They are rude and disgusting and should not make it so hard for people. While BMO was delightful and easy to open an account.

I had a Gentleman help me by the name of Esmindo Martinez he was my loan officer he was super helpful and very professional. He got me into my car with in the same day. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Fantastic bank. Never had any issues. The employees are friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that there are only 2 locations.

DISGUSTING DISGUSTING & DISGUSTING!!!!THIS IS A CREDIT UNION…. Right?I called today to try to get a loan to buy my lease, spoke to Christina today from Matador Credit Union and informed me that the car loans start with minimum 7.5% interest rate for excellent fico score plus extra extra extra hidden points and go high because of extra fees………????!!!They are worse than a regular bank…..!!!??????????“CREDIT UNIONS”: Federal credit unions are tax exempt under section 501(c)(1) and are not required to file an annual information return. State credit unions that are chartered under state credit union laws and operate without profit and for the mutual benefit of their members.CREDIT UNION ARE TAX EXEMPT……….. !!!!I PAY TAXES EVERY SINGLE YEAR…………!!!!

Full disclosure, I have been a member of MCCU for over 40 years! I was just in a dispute with the credit card processor and distributor for MCCU. They took the side of a sneaky vendor and didn't want to communicate with me as to why they did it. I reached out to the credit union for help with the matter. I got initial help from some of the credit union employees but it wasn't until Denise Ramirez, took the time to meet me in the offices, understand what the problem was and made the calls to get directly through to the credit card company. She resolved the problem by getting a hold of them over the phone. And we got positive answers because of her customer service and professionalism. MCCU is blessed with great people working there and in particular, Denise Ramirez. Thank you Denise and all MCCU for taking care of your members. And not just turning your back on us and ignoring us, which is what the credit card processor did.

Been with them with an auto loan for a few years, their customer service and transparency is impeccable. Talked with different representatives over the years, probably more than 10 and everyone has gone out their way to be extremely helpful. It’s not like talking to someone needing to meet quota or following scripts but feels like real people and they will give helpful advice even without needing to ask. Don’t leave a bad review just because you weren’t accountable because even I’ve been late a couple times and they were extremely understanding and will work with you if your communicating.

Spoke to a Manager named Anthony regarding an ACH dispute. I sent in a paper for 3 dispute and they reimburse me for two and the third one was the a deposit and they decided to return that deposit because they thought that's what I wanted. Why would I want them return a deposit. I told Anthony the manager to please reverse that and he told me he could not do it. The worst customer service from a manager. It doesn't make any sense for a member to reverse a deposit. He didn't want to help me at all and I don't understand how a manager could not be unhelpful. They refused to credit me $47.04 unbelievable.

I had two deaths back to back and tried to explain my situation and they told me that’s not my problem. Never experienced customer service like this definitely wouldn’t recommend them at all.
