Did an amazing job on the transmission. Shifts great through all the gears. Great people to do business with and I highly recommend California Transmissions to take care of you like they did me. Got it done in less than 2 days. Hard to find good shops to do quality work and this is definitely the shop that does quality work.

So thankful I found a honest shop that I can trust. After my 2017 Silverado transmission broke down, I searched for a shop to have the transmission replaced. I first took my truck to the dealer and they wanted over $6,000 for the transmission replacement. that's when I found california transmission. They specialize in the 6L80 transmission and have them in stock ready to go. They installed a remanufactured transmission for under $3000. they completed the job within two day and now my truck runs good as new. if your looking for a professional shop go to California transmission. You will not be disappointed!

don't take anything to this shop. had two trucks done around the same time. had to take both trucks back 3 times for them to instal another transmission after the first one. got one truck back with an exhaust leak and low fluid and the other truck came back with a cross threaded o2 sensor.

I'm so disappointed. I thought I had found a diamond in the rough with this shop. I was quoted a great price (to good to be true?) for my 2011 Sierra for a 6L80 6 speed. It was installed and I headed home (40 miles). I had to immediately return to the shop once I got home due to a leak. It was quickly corrected and I was on my way again (120 miles under my belt so far this day). 1 month later the tranny failed. I took it back and it was swapped out. This one lasted 12 months before it too failed. This time I took her to a reputable shop, Angels El Toro Transmission. Angel's told me that I still had the factory torque converter and factory TECHM (never replaced by CT as I was told). What a disappointment. If this is read by CT, I'd welcome a contact for follow up.

Awesome Experience! Israel gave me a reasonable price and the service was great. I took my 2015 Silverado for a transmission replacement. Could not be happier with the results. These guys are corrupt! Watch out for Israel he is a Con, and you'll never see him at his shops. I believe he has shops in Chula Vista and Fontana or somewhere in Riverside. He advertises in Offer up & Craigslist so look out! He told me $1500 for my transmission then after it was in he said $3000! What a scam artist! Then it still leaked and he had my truck out for a long time as well, missing work and pay all these times I was out. This guy is a LIAR! I wet back the second time because my transmission was leaking and Israel said it was my transmission coolant lines, of course I had to pay an extra $100 on top of the $3000.00. Furthermore he left my transmission dipstick out and said he would get me a new one in which he never did as well! Completely incompetent! Unreal this guy even has a business! I had to have my truck towed and he wouldn't get it towed as well. The list goes on and on! So watch out! Brought my truck back to him 4 times within warranty and still leaks fluid and jerks into gear. You'll never see the guy, plus he'll play the "your wrong" role with ya. If I could give him a minus stars I would! Fast talker and a con-man. Wow! Amazing he is still in business! This guy had it correct, "Terrible company! Liars for sure! Do not get ripped off by these guys! Warning! Don't use them! Israel is a con man! They lack professionalism and knowledge had my vehicle back a couple times. Just take a look at the other low reviews and judge for yourself the lack of pro service for the expenses they charge for poor service and lack of quality work. Israel is corrupt to the core. ! WATCH OUT!" -BR Overall he refuses to do the right thing

Worst place ever to have your transmission fixed. Paid them $1400 to rebuild the transmission in a 2001 Suburban only to have itbreak 1000 miles later. I called them about the warranty and they wouldn’t honor it. RUN AWAY

Israel is a great communicator and took his time to go over the pricing, warranty info, and all the work being done throughly to make me feel assured in the quality of work they provide. He had my car ready to go earlier than scheduled and he had the best price/warranty compared to several other transmission shops in the area. My car is driving great and will update my review down the road to let you all know how it's going but to be honest, I'm not worried one bit! Thank you Israel!

Well, over all the only thing keeping me from doing a 1 star was the customer service I guess. They are nice guys but the work they do is not high quality. They rebuilt my tranny in sept. Four month later it went out on me in Arizona so I had to pay for a tow back to alpine (where I live) then have to towed to San Marco to this place. Hoping I would get some discount or deal maybe a $100 off or something for the hassle of getting it towed an hour up north. But no I had to pay $850 so he gave me $50 off (a slap in the face pretty much). Even though they just rebuilt it four months ago. Not only that a texted him thinking it was the pump which it was and I asked how much it would be to tell it. He said "$800ish." Anyways I was fine paying that but very annoyed. The real problem is they didn't even put everything back together right. There is now an exhaust leak and the rear end makes a very loud noise when putting it into reverse. Called them and told about it when I got back. He said I can drive back and they'll take a look at it(it is literally an hour drive for me which I told him multiple times). He didn't mention anything about pricing so I'm assuming he'll charge me because that's all they care about is money. He could not even give me a $100 off the damn thing!! Overall DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT QUALITY WORK, they will charge you like they are the best tranny shop around which they are not. I will only come back here if I know my tranny is under the warranty, which they will probably some how get around it. NOT QUALITY OR PROFESSIONAL WORK BEWARE.

I was referred to California Transmission by my friend that works at Quality Chevrolet. I spoke directly to Israel over the phone and he couldn't have been a nicer person. Awesome shop to bring your Chevy or GMC truck to get your transmission repair. Great guys all around. Took my 2017 Silverado to get the transmission replaced, and they had it finished in no time. I paid exactly what I was quoted, with no hidden Cost!! They did a great job on my transmission repair and now it shifts better, than when it was new. Israel and the Team ROCK!!
