For the first time, I saw the bank manager Amardeep Chana personally handling business for customers. Very good management and service. The inconvenience and frustration that I originally experienced at the Rowland Hts branch are solved and relieved at CITI BANK in CITY OF INDUSTRY.

I had an issue with my account, talked to the teller who seems to know nothing and just asked me to call customer service. I requested to talk to someone who is familiar with CD accounts, then his manager came out and gave me nonsense explanations. I tripled checked with them and asking whether the delayed interest posting is due to a setting error, they firmly said no, didn’t even bother to closely check my account, and kept asking me just to be patient and wait. I’ve been having various CD accounts with Citi for years and I know when they post interest. The manager/supervisor’s explanation just doesn’t make any sense. So I reached out to the goldteam manager after leaving this branch, and it turns out there is a problem with account t setting… So stay away from this branch if possible, the staff members are incompetent and not even willing to help.

Lunar New Year is coming. I went to Citi bank to see any interesting products and can open a new account. I learned a lot of very interesting promotions from Jay Weng, the new account customer service specialist. Jay was very patient to complete all my requirements which involves extra transactions and steps for my accounts. Nice service!

Jay has been outstanding in providing services to me, informative on new accounts set up, incentives, online banking, ATM operations, I have utilized his services for over a year while mobilized between USA and Asia counties. He is very responsive to communications as well as follow through, and have made my banking experience smoothly. Not only I was treated friendly and professionally, but he goes out of his way to ensure everything is done right the first time, highly recommended!

Be prepared to have to call back multiple times if you actually need to speak to someone at this branch; I spent a morning continually calling, only to be told that the branch was busy and I was being transferred for immediate assistance from the customer service hotline. But, since I was calling to see about new bills, the hotline was unable to help me. Once the call was actually answered by someone at the branch they were helpful; unable to give me new bills since, so they told me, the treasury wasn't printing new ones. Or, at least thats what I think they said since the connection was horrific and kept cutting out, like he was on a cellphone instead of a landline. I know it wasn't me because I was actually on a landline.

Was having repeated issues with Citibank charging me a $15 service fee for not having the minimum balance requirement in my Business Checking Account.Spoke to a representative name AC who was able to resolve and figure out why I was being charged continuously the $15 fee. AC suggested I deposit another $10-$20 dollars so that the monthly average balance will reflect and meet the minimum balance.It was refreshing to see that AC was the only one who was able to figure out and fix the issue. Was very impressed with his knowledge, trouble shooting skills, and professionalism.Citibank definitely has a good employee representing them and should promote AC in the near future. Well deserved!

Most recently, we went to the City of Industry branch and was particularly pleased to meet Jay Weng who helped my husband and me to open a new account. Jay was patient to help us understand the benefits of opening with Citi. He showed that he was very knowledgeable of the banking products and doesn't try to sell us products that don't fit our needs. His expertise with his bank's products was frank and practical. We liked working with Jay and will be coming back to this branch.
