Abysmal. Tech did not show for confirmed appointment, did not call, nothing. When I visited website for explanation, there was only this... Appointment canceled by tech because I refused the payment! Completely not true, as I sat here for 4.5 hours waiting, completely compliant to their inspection rate and terms for repair. This level of deception and blatent untruth is completely unacceptable. Turns out, they booked the appointment without a tech available, so arbitrarily canceled me without notice or explanation. I chose this company because they offered quick response, I have a malfunctioning freezer full of very expensive food, their lack of professionalism cost me the entire contents. Best offer of remediation was "we can come repair your freezer in 3 days, would you like that appointment? Mind you, it was 3:00 in the afternoon, plenty of time to correct the obvious error, but this company chose not to. You must be joking. This is a shoddy operation at best, and bay far the worst customer service experience in my 55 year life.

This place is always great. Very trustworthy and reliable. I would say it's a great value but appliance repair is always expensive, in the case it's worth it because their tech are friendly and very good at what they do, even on my old washer.Service: Washer/dryer repair

I was very happy that Sears Appliance Repair was able to take care of our washer that went down a week prior. We do a ton of laundry and did not want to have to replace the units just yet. I was able to set up an appointment conveniently through the website, there were plenty of options to choose from, and was able to set it so that we wouldn't be down for too long. There is a $79 diagnostic fee, which applies to the service should you choose to move forward with it. No free estimates, because if your appliance is down, you're either gonna fix it, or decide to maybe hold off or replace...so I was fine with it.Our service tech, Nilesh was great. He arrived on time, notified me when he was on his way, and was able to troubleshoot our appliance very quickly and explained everything we needed to do and made sure I understood. He was professional and courteous and I have absolutely no complaints.I'm glad I went through a verified appliance repair service becuase you have to remember also that the repair tech needs the parts...and ours had them all without having to order anything or go out and get it. That makes a big difference in the time it takes to fix anything.Hopefully we won't have to for a while, but if I do, I'm contacting again.Service: Washing machine repair

I was quite happy that Sears Appliance Repair was able to take care of our washer that went down recently. Our family does a ton of laundry and I did not want to have to replace the units just yet, or have it down for too long. I was able to set up an appointment conveniently through the website, there were plenty of options to choose from, and was able to set it so that we wouldn't be down for too long. We didn't even buy our appliances from there, but they seem to be a general repair service nowadays. Note that there is a $79 diagnostic fee, which applies to the service should you choose to move forward with it. No free estimates, because if your appliance is down, you're either gonna fix it, or decide to maybe hold off or replace...so I was fine with it. Almost every tech is gonna charge a service fee or diagnostic. They do offer the home warranty service that can cover up to X amount of appliances, but I've had issues with home warranties in the past and generally take good enough care of my stuff and can do simple troubleshooting myself, so I opted out. Our service tech, Nilesh was great. He arrived on time, notified me when he was on his way, and was able to troubleshoot our appliance very quickly and explained everything we needed to do and made sure I understood. He was professional and courteous and I have absolutely no complaints. I'm glad I went through a verified appliance repair service becuase you have to remember also that the repair tech needs the parts...and ours had them all without having to order anything or go out and get it. SEARS customer service was rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. After paying for a heafty repair fee Sears cancelled without notice, however, the technician was very awesome.Service: Dryer repair

I have a service maintenance contract. My refrigerator has the LCD lights so when they need changing I call Sears to replace the ones that were out. I have had the lights changed numerous times since I purchased this refrigerator in 2017. First I wasn't told that an independent company would be doing the service. I was shocked when the person that came to my house was in their personal car. And they didn't bring replacement lights with them. The person that came said they had to diagnose the problem first. I told them that this had happened before but it didn't matter. All he did was place a order for the lights. The person came to our home on the 14th of August. After 2 weeks still no lights. I called Sears to ask what was going on and all I was told to contact t the repair company and I told Sears for SEARS to call and find out what was going on with the lights. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold and then disconnected. Another 2 weeks and still half the lights in my refrigerator were still out. I called again and was told the name of the company Sears contracted to do the repair and again I told them to call them since I didn't even know they were sending out a subcontractor. Again no satisfaction. I told them I would never ever buy anything else from Sears and I can see why Sears is in so much trouble. I also won't renew my contracts with them. I will never recommend them to anyone. 1 Star was too much for this service

Their work is good as in"get the work done". But the repairs needed can be more transparent. He told me the fridge is not cold because the compressor quits, though still under warranty. He proposed to replace the compressor for free, under warranty. Though including valve and some other part replacement, the cost is over &500! I'll be okay if he just show/explain to me the necessary of replacing parts in addition to the compressor.

Our repair technician was very careful with covid 19 protocols and respectful of our house. She was also very informing and efficient with her time.

Service is bad!!!!! Have to wait for 1hr-2hrs on the phone only to get disconnected. Almost two months now, and my refrigerator is still not working right. I lost so much food. Then the service provider is a 3rd party, not even a SEARS employee, so unprofessional. Dealing with SEARS is the worst experience I have ever had.

The Tech was good. Trying to get information from Sear on the telephone was the WORSE I have ever had. To answer a simple question I spoke to 4 people, waiting in between and NEVER received an answer. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. The Tech was good, the work was good. I thought it was expensive to replace a glass in the inside of the door on my WHIRL POOL BUILT IN OVEN.

Good communication and on time service. The service professional took all the necessary social distancing and was wearing a mask the entire visit.
