This Kipling location has the nicest staff I would even say a tad bit too nice haha... I enter the shop and was instantly greeted by their staff. All seem super positive and constant smiles all around. The bags were all displayed nicely around the store, and customers are allowed to touch and feel the bag before purchasing. They always have sales at the Kipling Outlet so naturally I had to buy something. I was super indecisive when it came to picking my bag and while the workers were incredibly kind and helpful, I was approached maybe 20 times. Nonetheless they were super kind and ultimately helped me pick the color and type of bag at the end but goodness I could not catch a break haha.

I was looking forward to coming here but the service with the exception of ONE employee was the absolute worst. The environment the supposed store manager Jennifer creates and allows for the customers to experience is completely hostile from the second you walk in. You walk in and immediately because the store is so small you can see about 5-8 employees. Some of which will look you up and down with judgmental eyes and proceed to act as if you don't exist. The employees do not want to be approached and will roll their eyes and laugh/smirk at you while you wait for any help. They go out of their way to pretend they are busy to avoid helping anyone out and I cannot reiterate enough just how rude they are especially during checkout. Not to mention they glare at you whenever you do decide to pick up an item to look at bag or wallet, it's almost as if they think you're about to run off with it, but yet no one will approach you. I was lucky enough to have one guy help me with colors and bag styles. JUST ONE GUY was actually tending to the customers. Now to the one employee who was absolutely the best and provided the best customer service. I wish I had gotten your name to include it but you were the only tall male with glasses the other male with glasses was short probably 4'11", so look for the tall one (maybe 6ft)he will help you so much!. You are the best representative that store has and you are the most professional employee there. Without a doubt you should definitely hold the title of store manager. You made me feel welcomed and helped me find exactly what I was looking for without rushing me. Thank you so much for the help despite your rude colleagues. You were genuinely so nice and I really appreciated the help and acknowledgment!

The staff will follow you around the whole store like you are a thief , look into your shopping bags what you have inside. But when you need assistance, they Will avoid eye contact and walk away so they don't need to talk to you.

I first noticed this brand at a luggage store, possibly because of the water-resistant fabric. I like patterned prints or the saturated colors. I usually buy crossbody and mini bags, but my travel carry-on is also one of their backpacks. The appeal of the smaller bags is that they can be folded if you must. The selection here tends toward dark neutrals as well as metallic pastels.

We stopped in on our way out of LA and were not disappointed. Great selection and great pricing! Employees were helpful. I'll definitely be stopping on our next trip.
