I started going to this gym in November when my coach from my prior gym (Rizzo) started working here. From the moment I started going to this gym the front desk people were all so nice and have great customer service. You will get a "Hi, how are you?" every time you come in and a "Thank you, have a nice day" every time you leave no matter who is working. When I met the owner he was super nice and welcoming as well! They have all the equipment you could need whether you are a fighter or just looking to get in shape. It's a great environment and I would highly recommend it!

Researched all over OC, and concluded. The best boxing gym with fully equipped boxing & exercise equipment. Moreover, they have great coaches for beginners to professional level. Boxing, Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, and more.

Came here today for the first time today. Great facility, looks like good classes if you’re into that or there are plenty of bags to hit plus equipment for an open gym session. Really great facility with a local feel

I genuinely notice something awesome very week I am at the gym, which is pretty often. Since the age of 15, I’ve had a gym membership as a form of cross training. I’ve even worked for a couple of chains; however, this is the first gym where the word and true meaning of “community” is seen through out. You will not find trainers and other staff employees to be as kind, funny and tough when you need it, as you will here. Also, I bleed red white and blue ???

I am the type of person that needs direction and to be pushed when working out, the trainers are awesome and will push you through your workout. You just have to get here, they will help you do the rest. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful and the facility is always clean and welcoming. I highly recommend joining here and either changing or enhancing your fitness level.

Adding Jesus Soto Karass to the boxing training staff basically fixed the program. Jesus is legit he beat Andre Berto who was Floyd Mayweather's last real opponent. Around a decade ago it was only Steve Franklin teaching boxing here who is a crazy old man with CTE who was never a legit pro running the program. Steve was a grifter who wouldn't help anyone who didn't pay him for privates, so fighters at the gym taught newer fighters more than the actual lead trainer. Steve never had any discussions with new fighters on how to physically prepare to be in the ring at any point ever or even taught them proper technique without being paid $60 an hour. This is a 5 star boxing program now and a 1 star boxing program when I first attended about a dozen years ago so I'll split the difference at 3 stars. The fact that they let a guy who put his bank account over fighters long term health or this gym being a legit boxing program is unforgivable but after almost every boxer left, the gym owner clearly learned from his mistake so he deserves props for that.

Love American Gym! The owner is always bringing in new equipment and looking for ways to improve the gym. Lots of variety in equipment that you don't get in the commercial gyms. The staff is very friendly and they keep the place clean.
