I've been attending their group exercise classes for two years now. Even though I was new to CrossFit when I started, I felt their Sweat! classes were a good introduction.I highly recommend Chalk to someone new to CrossFit or someone who wants to try a new CrossFit gym. The instructors are helpful and overall the gym feels like a friendly place.

Joining Chalk Performance Training Gym has been a life changing experience me! I never had any experience with lifting or going to a gym prior to joining Chalk, but something I wanted to try. I finally decided to go for it and joined Chalk November 2022.My first workout was a very humbling experience. Definitely thought I could run, do push-ups, jump on a box, and lift some weights, but put them all together was quite a challenge for me! I kept going and with the support of the exceptional coaches, I have improved and came a long way.Coach Brett is your classic welcoming East Coast man. He will walk though all the movements prior to the workout and will correct/ modify if needed. Which I really appreciated as a newbie. There is nothing better than a post-workout fist bump from him after tough workout.Coach David is one of the most muscular fit people I have met in my life. Behind the muscles, David is an encouraging, motivating, and funny guy. There is nothing worst when he makes you laugh during a workout while you are out breath. He definitely see the best in everyone and will push you, even if you don’t think you can.Through going to Chalk, I have definitely become stronger and more fit. I am confident in myself, see my untapped potential, and not afraid to try something new. I cannot thank everyone enough for such a positive experience. Even though the workouts are still challenging, at least I am not extremely sore anymore when making an U turn driving… hahah!As long as I live in Orange County, I will continue going to Chalk regularly. There is no better environment and community to train and succeed in. Everyone that I have met through the workout classes, fun social events like Friendsgiving, or passing by have been super kind and supportive. The coaches and staff are one of a kind and would highly recommend Chalk to anyone looking to workout and have a great time!

Don’t come here - they body shame and make fun of fat people a lot on their social media account (see @RyanFisch on IG) - not to mention his misogynistic posts as well.There are plenty of other places in the OC to support besides this place.

Intentionally make it difficult for you to cancel free trial and then won’t refund you when it ends and goes through, even though you didn’t want the membership to begin with.

Great drop-in experience. Gym was organized and the energy was high on a Saturday morning. Staff was friendly but not pushy and all of the members seemed like they were having a super good time. Thanks so much!!

Awful customer service.would definitely not recommend. You get charge for a membership after saying that you don't even use the app anymore and then the guy at the customer service won't even refund you the money. Absolute disgrace. Gym Ryan you suck

Fraudsters - signed up for online program and wasnt able to cancel. They charged my credit card after I removed it from the app and didnt want to refund me when I asked them how they charged me after my card was removed from the system.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE ONLINE TRAINING. They advertise its free to cancel anytime. If you figure out how to cancel in time then yeah thats true. However on every website and the app there is no way of "signing in" and canceling your membership. even on the app under subscriptions it doesn't have anything. none of the websites offer a client login to cancel yourself and only after reading through others similar issues here have i found out that its only possible to do so through emailing them and having them cancel it for you.
