Rally sport is welcoming, they greet you quickly with great energy. You can tell they are about making sure your car is in tip top shape while working with your schedule which is a huge bonus. 3 weeks later my car has been running at it optimal potential and my fuel consumption has improved. A straight out shout out for your kindness yesterday!!!Your shop just closed but helped me out ( one tire lost a lot of air 5 psi was the reading-within the day somehow) inflated the tire with air and even checked if i had a leak. 2 shops had already turned me away ( 1st shop: compressor was shut down n 2nd shop didnt want to bother cuz it was 5:50 and closing in a minute ge said.You saved my night!!! Didnt charge me ...."its just air" he said. Your kindness will not be forgotten. When the time comes when i need new tires i will be back. Thank you fron the bottom of my heart

It so great to have Raul and Rallysport Engineering nearby (we are in Long Beach). He has been taking care of our 2009 2.5 Outback and 2014 3.6 Outback for several years. The 2009has 180,000 miles on it and it going STRONG thanks to Raul who will never EVER oversell you on parts or service- he is a true expert and as honest and straightforward as can be imagined!

This place specializes in Subarus and if your like me and have an old Saab 92x they are lifesavers. They have great service and do good honest work. They work on any car but once again if you have a Subaru or any old oddball car these are the guys.

No other mechanic shop can come even close to compare to their work and hospitality. They go above and beyond, and then some after that. I've never trusted a mechanic more, and I will never go anywhere else. They work with you, are hospitable, reasonably priced, and make car troubles (that are usually highly stressful) an experience that you don't have to dread. No words can describe the experience of getting car work here, as it is a one in a million.

I came in last minute to get maintenance and an oil change so I wouldn't encounter any problems when I have to drive up to the bay later in the week. I was met with the Raul who gave me a detailed explanation of what they would do and the costs. He was very up front with everything and made me feel very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating as they quickly helped me. The service was excellent and they even fixed an issue I have been having with my high beam signal always turning on. I noticed this as I was driving home. I have found a trustworthy place that I will definitely be going to in the future. Highly recommended!

I started coming to Rallysport about a year ago after reading great reviews. I have a 2006 Subaru Forester & was looking for a reliable Subaru mechanic to stay on top of regular maintenance & fix my noisy power steering. Long story short, I brought my car in 3 different times to repair the power steering. Initially, they made small repairs like replacing an O ring or replacing hoses (that were totally fine). Last time I dropped it off, they called hours later to tell me that they had gone ahead & replaced my power steering pump-- without my consent or any written estimate for this repair. When I came to pick up my car, Raul sheepishly told me that they had CRACKED MY INTAKE MANIFOLD during the repair. How they hell do you even do that? They offered no explanation. I was completely taken advantage of. I scheduled to bring my car in with Raul 4 different times only to show up & be told that there wasn't a loaner car for me to use. Another time I was given a ride but when I returned my car literally hadn't been touched. It took over TWO MONTHS for them to fix the damage they had done to my car. I lost so much money & time! Not to mention that 2 pairs of expensive sunglasses were missing from my car after it was finally fixed. AND AFTER ALL OF THIS, my power steering was still making noise. To this day, Raul has never contacted me again this situation right. Take your business to South Coast Auto Clinic-- they're the best!!

This is a late review. After reading some great reviews of Rallysport Engineering, I decided to bring my 2013 WRX STI for some help recently. I've had the recurring ACVS/OCVS passenger side leak again and again. Dealerships in the past wrongly diagnosed the issue and mentioned some funky things such as a bad head gasket, seeping coolant, etc. Anyways, the dealership eventually replaced the ACVS sensor once and the oil leak started to happen again less than 10K miles. Rallysport Engineering took in my car and performed a diagnostic and gave me a laundry list of things that are recommended (no shame in bringing a neglected car so that's why I am a returning customer to get some help :D ). Both Raul and Sean were very cordial and helped so much and gave me confidence to get my car running properly again. At this point, I'm working in sourcing all the parts for a motor build including the flex fuel kit. I look forward to getting this motor built fresh soon. Thanks guys!

RALLYSPORT is the best mechanic shop in Costa Mesa, without a doubt. Raul is professional, courteous, friendly and generous. He's a great mechanic and the best part, very straightforward and honest. I've taken two of my cars to him for years, and he always shoots me straight. I really appreciate that Raul is responsive in his communication. I usually text him and he always responds within a few minutes, if not sooner. I also appreciate that his initial quote is what I'm billed for at the end. With my last major repair, he had to do some extra work that he didn't anticipate, but still charged me the amount we agreed on at the very beginning. That's just the kind of guy he is. Couldn't recommend him any more.

Took in my 2007 Subaru WRx Wagon. My headgaskets were blown so I was naturally worried. They were great! Communication was ON POINT. I followed up daily and saw pics of the repairs. They go the extra mile when doing these repairs. Gaskets got changed, pistons got cleaned , heads got sent to the machine shop. The car is driving smooth and zero leaks. I can't give these guys enough credit. From the start, it was amazing.

Brought my '17 Subaru Outback, did a 30k Service and a 2" lift kit. Everything was smooth, installation, alignment was perfect. These guys are honest which is rare in mechanics. They'll tell you how it is. Thanks guys!
