I was treated to a facial / chem peel as a birthday gift. Candace, my esthetician, provided me with exceptional service. She took the time to answer my questions, but above all, was very friendly and courteous. I will be back to see Candace.

I booked a facial at the Spa at Nordstrom as a treat to myself. It was totally everything I hoped for. I had been once for a Tata Harper event years ago and always wanted to go back for a full service. I had a signature Kate Somerville facial by Kelly. Kelly did a great job, was personable and very friendly. She was knowledgeable and it was very relaxing. She has good facial massage technic. The oxygen machine wasn't working and caused a snafu during treatment. Kelly handled the situation with grace and brought in another machine as I told her I was really looking forward to that part of the treatment. If I had not wanted to wait for the different machine, they did offer a discount on service. Highly recommend to anyone. My skin was glowing after.

Yes the people are always nice and they always help you find things but sadly they do not have a shoe repair anymore so everyone said they had one and went upstairs they said they do not have one anymore and he will direct me to another place in Irvine.

Ok so it is not a full throttle spa with pools (which in my experience are often overrated unless your party has been drinking)I had a fabulous facial with Trena and deep tissue 90 min with Brigette. Both I would go back to-and will. This is not the least expensive place to get services. But, despite the parking being meh, having to walk into the store to get there AND check in being lackluster…I am going back.I live in north county so driving down is not convenient.Plus, no one there will be waving signs at you, reminding you cash is preferred and cards are annoying to them.Take the elevator to 4th floor. I go in on Sunflower and get parking on the side with the elevatorI have not used, but know there is a shower in the bathroom (operational? Unsure)

I got a pedicure by Carol Nguyen, a pedicurist/manicurist. The pedicure was priced at $55. I gave $15-20 tip. She did a great job with massaging my feet, scrubbing/exfoliating them, and cleaning my nails. I picked out a color (purple-pink) and she applied a base coat, two coats, and a finishing coat on top. I sat in the lounge to let them air dry for 15 minutes before paying and leaving. I would come back possibly if Carol is available, or check out some of their other offerings. They do not offer eyebrow threading but offer eyebrow waxing, manicures, and massages.

This review is for my experience with the pedicure service which I had today with Donna. After reading through a mountain of salon reviews for a variety of places around HB/FV/CM and Irvine just to be able to go in and get a good, reliable and SAFE pedicure - my first since before the pandemic - I wasn't feeling confident in any places to just try out at all. I remembered Nordstrom had a Spa and decided to look them up and did some more research. There weren't too many post-lockdown/recent reviews BUT the ones that were there were subsequently better than everything else I had read. To be clear, my interest was in a good, solid pedicure. I didn't want to leave with cut cuticles or skin, an infection or nail fungus or any other sordid problem I didn't have before. I also wanted a calm, relaxing experience without the paranoia vibe of wondering what was being said around me or about me. Furthermore, I also knew that I would be carving out time for said service and had zero expectation of being rushed along - in fact expected not to be. SO, realized that a "spa" type pedicure might just be the answer and the steeper price tag might just be warranted for this wish list. Plus, it's been a long while, so why not? I found everything I was looking for online and was able to book my appointment that way as well. Simple. I was contacted the day before by the Spa to confirm as well as to ask me to fill out their in-take. Fine - it took 2 minutes. Showed up, was immediately ushered back to a room where I was invited to tea and water. Lovely. (And perfect since I was drowsy and my eyes hurt from too much reading the night before.) And moments after I poured some tea was called behind the curtain by Donna to take a seat for the service. Now, the other review is correct in that there is no massage chair. Honestly, I didn't really miss the poorly padded awkward roller ball trudging up and around my spine. The chair was just as massive. The basin, as well. And, from the jump, Donna was a gem. Super sweet. Pleasant. And I LOVED that she was very attentive to detail and also that I didn't feel like I had to watch her like a hawk to make sure she was doing what I asked, or expected or that she wouldn't hurt me. It was a relief. And what a pedicure should be! To clarify, it was thanks to another reviewer who left a positive comment about Donna's pedicure skills that I decided to book her. They do a far more natural service - no harsh chemical callous removers and such. But oils and butters and warm water and old school foot pumice. I actually found it to be really nice. That said, there are pros and cons to both types of service. This one was nice and relaxing and Donna did a wonderful job with her toolset. I brought my own polish - my choice - it's what I wanted today. But they have a great selection on the wall. In total, I was out about an hour and 10 min. or so after I went in. I feel like I got what I paid for and expected. So I'm thoroughly satisfied. I was sure to ask and Donna also does manicures at the Spa. I felt safe there. I don't know how often I will be able to work pedicures back into my life - I got pretty used to going without and am still so leery about all of the insane reviews I read otherwise. But I do know that at some point I will for sure be back and will bring my mom in with me next time so she can be treated to a manicure with Donna as well. In conclusion, I do highly recommend! BUT, if all you want is something cheap and fast with the perceived frills ("massage seat" and additional "products" used) this may not be for you. IF, you want to relax in a quieter environment with a higher level of service, no question marks or added stress of reassuring your own service, a "spa" setting is a good solution. More expensive, yes, but consider it a convenience fee and in the end, you get what you pay for. Choose wisely.

Whom ever hired the marketing team for Nordstrom needs to know that they are morons. And the management team is compromised of idiots. We travel half an hour and find out you can’t shop unless you have a department store credit card I want to give them your money these marketing morons running this company. They’re catering to hood rats that need a Nordstrom credit card to purchase over priced Chinese crap. Pandering virtue signaling company.

Some of the perks I get from my wife for being a Nordstrom Icon status member. Waiting area was nice, small and quaint. Was able to enjoy some lemon water and hot tea while waiting for my appointment. The massage room I was brought into was dimmed with peaceful music playing and most importantly, CLEAN! Slight complaint was I did not get slippers to walk within the room. The masseuse was very professional and wore a mask while in the room with me and applied just the right pressure all over my aching body. Afterwards, I was allowed to relax and get dressed without feeling rushed and I went on with my day shopping within Nordstrom and the mall!

I am having my whole body worked on, finally. as you all know or if you didnt lolz, this place was closed because the covid pandemic. I will say I enjoy this location. I recommend everyone try them out as its part of nordstrom. what does that mean? well you get the same level of service you expect from nordies. clean facility. service is high quality everytime. they do have to answer to the man. for me the whole body massage is what I enjoy everytime. if you workout or have stress you definitley need it. trust me it does wonders without medication. I dont touch meds so a quality massage is what I do everytime. plus you can shop when your done. the price is up there so dont expect cheap here. but I dont feel that im getting ripped off tho as I feel safe and its a place I can trust. if you call and its booked out, then there mus be something about that. I hope you guys will try them out at least once or give it as a gift to a loved one. im a dude and I enjoy it myself. its not just for women. parking is basically the malls parking,
