Went to the store today to exchange slippers my husband received for Christmas. The salesperson took one glance at them and said "no, those are not ours, we don't sell those ", and walked away. I pulled up the order that my daughter-in-law forwarded to me for them and I showed her. She, again, glanced and said "oh, those are online, sorry, I can't help you." Horrible customer service. Sorry, won't ever step into that store again.

Understaffed, closed when posted hours say they're open, inconsistent service, and quite frankly they're prices can be beat if you research. Not what they used to be.

Worst customer service I have ever received. Rebecca is the woman who helped me, and she was extremely rude and kept ignoring me and other customers. I have come to this store and always spend over five hundred dollars on shoes for myself and my mother, but I am treated very poorly. It is clear that they do not value their customers and should be ashamed of themselves. I highly recommend shopping somewhere else.

Have to get my Danskos for work here. Worst customer service. They are on commission so they serve 3 people at once so you getzero attention or service. Drives me nuts. I usually end up walking out. Awful management encouraging such awful practices. I dread going into the WalkingCompany. Worst shopping experience everrrr

The Salesperson Rebecca was very in welcoming to the store and rude to my kids - as we were the only customers in the store and as I was showing and asking to see items she continually brought out items I did not ask for or want and tried to push me into items that I didn't ask for or like and then said she had insets that would interest for $30 and only showed me the $80 inserts. Every item I wanted to see she pretty much said "NO" not for me. So then I decided to have her order a pair which she did and have sent to me (within 5-7 business day) it's now day 10 still no shoes! Nor did she give me order info to call customer service! When I called 8 days later spoke with mgr who asked me to call on Monday so I called on Tuesday where it took me 45 min of calling to have someone actually pick up phone since they had fax machine on cuz Rebecca was alone and couldn't be bothered to answer phone when she finally did answer she hung up on me. So I continues to call back another 30 min later she answers and said they are closed and she is alone and had to clean and I should call 800 number to look up my order - which I had NO order# for - then she finally found my order after looking for 10+ min gave me order# and said call the 800# in am as they are on east coast time and she would leave a note for her mgr in am, which he did and as I explained the situation to him and how I wanted to talk to their DM he said they would call me within 24 hours- the time has come and gone and NO CALL!! So I called customer service and ask d them to have the DM call me within 24 hrs we should wait and see- also when original order was placed was told I would receive a confirmation email about order which never happened - the DM just called me while writing this and she was very nice and concerned about the way I was treated and assured me things will be addressed. I did tell her I probably wouldn't shop in the Crystal Court shop again.

This store has some great brands if you have an issue with your feet. The first time I came her last week, the staff and female manager who were working were very helpful when I purchased a pair of Soft booties. The sales man was very helpful in setting up my online account letting me know I'd earn points when I ordered online with email which was registered with them. I went home and looked online for some shoes that they did not have in the store and ordered a coupLe of pairs hoping they would fit but they did not and one pair I did nOt like the style. I took them into the store to return them and the person who helped me was a male manager and he took the box I him with the two shoes. What was odd was that he took the box and removed both boxes and plopped it to the ground right in front of my feet between me and the cash register. He asked me if I had my email receipt for the shoes and I looked for it and I guess I was taking to long so he got someone else and a said to them, you take care of this and walked off. I picked up the box and moved it out of the way so I could work with the new person. Incredibly rude for a manager. I can understand passing me off to someone else who was not a manager but plopping the box on the ground in my way and not moving it out of the way. He obviously wanted nothing to do with me and my return. I was hoping to look around again but decided not to with that horrible treatment by the manager.

Today I bought a new pair of shoes here and two sets of custom insoles. I worked with a very knowledgeable assistant manager named Bianca. She was helpful, patient and courteous. I'm very happy with my shopping experience at the store today and Bianca was a big part of that.

I was doing some Christmas shopping and stopped into the Walking Company at South Coast plaza. I had been in the location many times before and did not find any customer service, however today I was greeted by Ladan Dadras and was VERY PLEASED with the professional assistance I was provided. She was very helpful and willing to work with me trying on many shoes. Ladan was the example of fabulous service. Thank you again Ladan!!!!

I got pressured into buying: - an EXTRA pair of shoes I didn't want -$13 worthless socks because they make the new shoes too tight -a 2nd (@$79) pair of orthotic inserts--(the wrong size) -a bottle of spray cleaner -plus the one pair of shoes I went in for ...all to the tune of $389 before I could blink. The Salesperson never asked me if I wanted these extras, just put them in the bag and grabbed my credit card. Some boss lady came by and said "I see you got our top salesperson!". Surprise, it's all about sales. Yes, I should have spoken up. I was literally in shock. I felt the fact that I was a senior on my own was taken advantage of. I could barely afford the one pair of shoes I needed, let alone all the extras that brought me near $400! So, I went back today to return the second pair of shoes, which hurt my feet, and the extra (wrong size) orthotics and got the same (extremely aggressive) salesperson. The shoe return was reluctantly accepted, BUT NO WAY were the extra, wrong size orthotics going to be taken back! We argued about it and it was just not going to happen. I was extremely upset, on my own, with a cane I'd like to have hit someone with. Again, this senior felt mowed over. I was disrespected, not listened to and am still livid. I will try to talk to the corporate office and see if they'll take the inserts back, or I'll go to another Walking Co. store. Never will I set foot in this SCP store again, NEVER!!! Seniors (and probably all others, if reviews here are an indication) beware! Update: went to Mission Viejo store and returned all of the above except the inserts I originally went for at SCP. The 2 salesmen at MV store couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Thanks guys! THIS will be my a Walking Co. store in the future,
