Had a great experience buying CPO Ford fusion from out of state. Curtis Payne my salesman was great, even talked to me on his day off! Completed the deal with a few phone calls. Everything went as planed and promised. Pablo in the finance department was great too. Sent all the paperwork overnight with return overnight envelope. Probably was easier then buying one locally, never had to go to a dealership. No games or high pressure just straight forward buying experience.Mark DFW TX.

I appreciate that the dealership did not try to hassle over dealer add-ons like so many others do. However, I received my mustang with swirl marks. My purchase from Theodore Robbins couldn’t gave been easier. I found the exact car I wanted online and within an hour of contacting them on a third party site, Curtis called me and confirmed it was available. I went the next day and was in and out of the door in 3 hours. The entire staff over there was extremely helpful when it came to getting me approved and the head of finance even had great recommendations on performance upgrades for my raptor, all of which I got and heavily recommend. Really friendly staff really good free coffee. I like their selection but the only reason I'm not giving him five stars and only four. Is because. They did not solve the problem that I was asking him to help out with. It took them over an hour to get back to me when I had lost something on their property. And then after an entire hour I still didn't find the guy that was originally helping me. So I never got my stuff back. I had a backpack full of brand new products. I also had a receipt in there with stuff that I was going to return. But all in all that wasn't entirely Robin's fault. I should not have just relied on one of their employees to help. I actually asked other employees to help me but they were busy at the time. It would have really helped me if the guy who is hop into it and helping me out in the first place was available and easy to find.

Customer service here is not a thing. Went in with a coupon for a free "works" and they told me I need to pay $70 for an oil change. The works includes an oil change.... Manager was no help, take your Ford else where. I went to the Ford dealership in HB and used the coupon no problem.

I’ve been looking around for a while to lease a F150. I found the best prices in this dealership through CarGurus app. When I called different dealerships to find out an idea of lease deals no one was telling me the number except this dealership. They quoted me a really good deal over the phone. I went there 2 days later and kinda late in the evening when they were wrapping up for the day. They had done the paperwork quick and we picked up the truckGreat experience overall

I was met with the most professional customer service. This dealership offered me nothing but the best and gave me a great deal. I drove an hour to Costa Mesa because I knew I was getting a fabulous deal I couldn’t get near home. I would suggest anyone who is looking for a truck to go to this dealership. Service department desk really needs improvement. Took a 1989 F-250 in for an inspection after purchasing it from another owner. Was charged $180 for a one-hour inspection, which is fine, but it ended up taking 29 hours (turns out my truck wasn't even at the dealership, they moved it off site somewhere?). While the truck isn't in the best of shape, I expected a write up of critical issues that should be taken care of. I only received the invoice, no list. Went back another day to request the inspection write up, but Pete wasn't in that day and the other employees couldn't find a digital record of the inspection notes. Went back another day and found Pete, who eventually found the inspection notes and handed me a piece of scratch paper with bullet points on it....I initially told Pete that I would probably not be able to afford all the repairs at once which may have affected the follow through. Nonetheless, a subpar experience compared to Toyota of Huntington Beach. I'll take my rig and cash elsewhere - I recommend the same for others.

I bought a 2020 Ford Ranger truck from Theodore Robins Ford and I probably had the best car buying experience I've ever had with a dealership, my sales representative Darren, was absolutely the BEST. He was very low key, no real pressure to buy and helped me through ever step of the car process, not that I needed help, but it's always nice to have someone who makes you feel comfortable. I don't know about you, but buying a car is always stressful for me. When it came time to talk to the finance manager, Dan, I can't say enough good things about him. I'm 61 years old and bought many new cars in my life time, I would have to say he was definitely the best finance manager I have ever dealt with. By the way I live in Chula VIsta just south of San Diego and I would definitely make the trip back to Theodore Robins Ford to buy car.

I brought my 2018 vehicle in because the heated and cooled seat was not cooling they had the car from 7:45am until 5:52pm and they didn't fix it im not too impressed with them at all....apparently I had to tap on the star to be able to write this review. That is the ONLY reason they got a star from me.

I was standing outside the dealership for someone to help me for 45 minutes. I was even able to walk around the whole dealership to see if I can find someone to help but no one was available and no one even bothered to ask if I needed help. I was ready to purchase a car, cash in hand. Why is it open if you're not going to help your customers? Will not be coming back.

My wife and I had a great experience at Theodore Robins Ford and would gladly recommend that my friends and family go there. I searched high and low online for a nice F-150 and emailed a few dealerships. Christopher Alcocer responded quickly, answered my questions, set up an appointment and had the truck waiting for us when we got there. He was able to find us some rebates we weren't aware of and we never felt rushed or pressured. This was one of the best experiences I've had at a Ford dealership and wanted to give credit where credit is due.

I've bee dealing with the same service guy for over 4 years now. His name is Pete. Pete is amazing. When he saw me enter the office 4 years ago I was incredibly vulnerable and had just lost my husband. I was crying my eyes out and could barely keep my composure. Pete somehow made everything ok that day and from now on when I pull my Exploder into service I light up when I see him and your entire gang in Costa Mesa. I no longer dread taking good care of my car. It was always a mans job in my world sadly. Now I actually get excited to visit Pete and have him guide me on what I need to do. He makes me feel SAFE and extremely taken care of. For this I am forever grateful. I hope Pete never leaves and I hope you all continue to do the professional and amazing job you all do. Finally I reached Steve Smith, the sales manager. He and his sales team member Christoper Alcocer got the job done within 12 hours. I didn't even need to visit the dealership. I really hate going to dealerships because of car salespeople. I had contacted Christopher because my daughter was interested in a car they had. He was very straightforward and gave me the exact price with tax and license. I was hesitant to make the 2 hour trip because usually when you get there they start telling you all about the extra add-ons. Christopher was completely honest and nothing changed when I got down there. It turned out the car wasn't exactly what my daughter thought it would look like on the inside. I would recommend Christopher to anyone who doesn't want to play dealer games. He is a hard to find honest sales person. The whole dealership seemed straightforward and I can see why they have been in business so long. If you just want the bottom line and don't have time to play mind checkers, this is the dealership for you.

Had my 2019 Ford Expedition serviced; needed the side mirror replaced. In and out within 24 hours, had to rent a car ($30 a day) through them as they have no loaners; cost to fix (parts & labor) incl. car rental was $200.00Staff super responsive and transparent around timeline and cost.

My visit here was the worst car shopping experience I have ever had. My online sales rep was Phillip Chis, inquired online about a vehicle I was interested... exchanged a few texts about the type of vehicle I was interested in, and was initially pleasant. I had messaged Phillip during the week and asked if we can set up a viewing and test drive of the vehicle, he kindly stayed after his shift ended and waited for us to arrive. When we arrived he pulled up a model that I was not interested in and he insisted that it was when in FACT it wasn't. I test drove it anyway... He was not engaging, he did not really go over any of the vehicle features.... instead he waited till my sister or I asked questions. Upon arriving back to the dealership I requested to see the model I originally wanted... he then went on to say "Well we got half hour to do this before we close" felt very rushed and not a feeling one should get when buying a new car. He took us to the second option which I loved but he said it was about 2k more than the one I test drove, as my dad and I were looking at the vehicle he said "well let's go back to the office to get some numbers done" again felt rushed and uneasy. He said he would "try" to give me the sale price I initially saw online and would discuss with management for approval. When he returned he said he was unable to approve the sale price, my sister tried negotiating and his frequent response was NO, NO and you guessed it NO. No room for negotiating, when we opted to not go through with a purchase he gave off a passive aggressive attitude as if we wasted his time, or would have rather been at home. Needless to say I was there to drive off with the vehicle and had more than enough money to put down if the price was right, they did not work with me at ALL. But the blessing is that I got a new vehicle from Ford of Montebello for 2k less than what Robins had it for, extended warranty, and a cash back offer. I do not regret walking away from Robins Ford, I made the right choice by leaving.

Wow!!! This place is awesome. These guys exceeded my expectations on all levels. I literally walked in. Test drove the car I came to see and was out the door in about 2 hours. My work van broke down and I took it to Theodore Robins Ford. Never called them, dropped it off at 10pm, showed up at 7am and the service guys were more than helpful. They told me I had a few cars in front of mine and they would do the best they can. They kept me updated the whole time and had the van back up and running by the end of the day!!!! Was very pleased with the price and how quick everything got done. Also got to meet Mr Robins, Jim was very nice and talked me into that new Bronco that is coming out!!!! Looks like they will get my return business!

These guys know how to make things happen... I went to a different Ford dealer that I had previously bought 2 vehicles from in the past out of loyalty to my Sales Rep, Unfortunately he told me without a large down payment to cover my negarive equity they could not help. My wife found Theodore Robins Ford online with a great deal on a used vehicle. I made an appt with Chris the internet sales manager. He had the vehicle ready for the test drive before we arrived. After the test drive not only did he give me pricing on the used vehicle, but also lease options and purchase with multiple option for down payment from 0 to 4k ( based on my budget). The Sales Manager Steve was a wiz with checking all inventory and working the numbers to get me something that was what I wanted. They presented me all the offers and we found a match. Not only did I end up with a New 2020 Edge SEL with tons of bells and whistles. They gave me more on my trade than offered by the other dealer to help cut the negative equity. Steve then hopped on the phone and called Ford Credit directly and got me a 0% APR for 72 months... Talk about impressed, these guys work hard to earn your bisiness without the back and forth and made us feel like family rather than just another customer.... I gave them my criteria and they made it happen... If you need a used or new car you gotta go see these 2!

Went to Theodire Ford because they work with my dad's bank. Found a truck he really wanted. He let me negotiate. Curtis helped us. He made it quite clear several times he was a manager. Test drive went well, small talk was good. As we are negotiating i provided a price we wanted. Only $500 separated our offer and Curtis' price. I was being stubborn. But what really upset me was when he said, " I am a manager, I don't need your business." Frankly, I was floored by that. A car dealership that doesn't need business? My dad already had the financing, I was trying to get him a deal. He left with his truck but I can't believe we were told our business wasn't needed. I get you gotta play hardball but find another line. I will be looking for an Expedition soon and needless to say it will NOT be at Theodore Ford because apparently managers don't need our business. I would avoid this dealership.

I posted a not so credible review recently. I would like to say though that Theodore Robins Ford response to this was nothing short of remarkable. This dealership could not have possibly done anything more to resolve the issue that I had. I would like to personally thank the Sales Manager Chris for his impeccable customer service and also the owners of the dealership for their involvement.I would not hesitate to recommend the Theodore Robins Dealership to anybody who wants to purchase a new or used vehicle.

Frank and the whole service team went beyond my expectations in service! I brought my Flex in for an oil change. I had mentioned that I was having a hard time getting my daughter’s 16th birthday parade paint off of the windows, and asked if there was a spray cleaner that they had for purchase. When I returned to pick up the car, my windows and car no longer had paint on it! I am happy, happy with Frank and Theodore Robins!

1 star because a rating is required to post. NEGATIVE STAR because of what happened. I have refrained from writing a positive review so as to not mislead innocent buyers unaware of deceptive business practices at Theodore Robins Ford. I can refrain no more as this problem has created a burden on my own financial situation.First the positiveI got a great car, the Lincoln MKZ 2.0H for a price that was affordable, at low mileage. This is a Ford Dealership. My husband is a loyal Ford customer.Now the NEGATIVEAt the least, I am very shocked that such gross misrepresentation was made to me and my family when I contracted to purchase the Lincoln MKZ 2.0H from the Theodore Robins Ford dealership on November 23, 2019. I was led to believe that I needed to have my credit checked even when I already had financing in place to purchase the vehicle. It was further misrepresented to me that the inquiry would be automatically removed. This has been false because such removal has not happened automatically. It has been more than six months to try to resolve this. I have made numerous calls, been transferred from person to person, left voicemail messages, sent text messages and emails and NO ONE has done as he said (i.e. return my calls and remove the inquiry). This is taking too much time to resolve. The hard inquiry on my credit report has prevented me to from moving forward with my own business and it is creating a hardship for me and a hardship to qualify for a loan, especially in the current Covid-19 pandemic situation. It would help me immensely if James Robins and his team could make a goodwill adjustment to remove the hard inquiry from my credit report. Since they are not responding to my calls, emails, letters and texts, maybe they will respond here on Yelp.
