I initially sought Lisa's services for my complicated tax situation, particularly with handling 1099 contractor expenses and estimated taxes. She did a great job on that front, and her pricing was fair. However, there were multiple issues with the accuracy of my return. For full transparency and fairness, I admit that one of the errors was my fault for not bringing it to her awareness. However, other errors were missed and incorrectly inputted. When the mistakes were brought up to Lisa, I felt dismissed, replying that I should have let her know and provided my previous tax return. However, I felt that was irrelevant since I had all the other documents printed out for her to review and even verbally confirmed the inclusiveness of it with her afterward. She is very direct in her e-mails, which led to me feeling dismissed initially, but is much more friendly in person and via the phone. Lisa offered to amend my return, which I was thankful for. However, the amendment was also incorrectly completed, resulting in further delays and complications. It took several months and a 2-hour phone call with the IRS to finally sort it out. Overall, Lisa's pricing is very fair, and I picked her due to her years of experience and proximity to my home. Unfortunately, I could have had a better experience.

I've had the same accountant for the last 20 years, but found myself in need of a new one this year. A friend referred me to Lisa and she was excellent. In fact, she gave me some solid advice that I should have received from my previous accountant. I'll be back next year for sure!

I used Gelardi last year and was very happy with their service. Lisa made it really easy. I brought my documents with me to the appointment and she did the return while I sat with her. I went home with the completed return and the cost was very reasonable. In the past I've had to drop my info off and wait, sometimes weeks or months, to get it back. Making my appointment right away for this year.
