The room was the jacuzzi suite, it was clean and the jacuzzi woked so everything was fine. The fireplace is not operational due to emissions.

As a local, it's rare that I would stay at a hotel, but due to an emergency, well, here we are. I've had my eye on this hotel since I moved here in 1997. We eat at Bernardo's, downstairs, pretty regularly. It's an older hotel, but it's well-maintained and it's quite pretty. It's also right in the heart of downtown. It's a block from farmers market, and there are all kinds of restaurants within a very quick walk. And... It's squeaky clean! I was greeted by Blake in the lobby. He was friendly, amazing and very helpful! I was able to get into my room a little bit early, which was fabulous. I stayed in a king size room. It was immaculate, and very comfortable. There were two rooms, separated by French doors. One room was a sitting room, and the other was for sleeping. Big TVs in both! Housekeeping is on request. I like that! The restaurant downstairs is one of the better ones in town. It's also relatively inexpensive. There are two sides to it. On the café side, You can choose to order at the counter or from the QR code on the table. Food is brought to you when it's ready. The food is excellent. On the bar side, there is full service. It does become more of a bar in the evening, so keep that in mind. Same menu for each. If you want something to step up from that, check out the Mustard Seed. It is also right next-door. I stayed in room 203. The only thing to be aware of is that early in the morning someone rolls out the trash bins to the curb. This happened both mornings. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to sleep on the other side of the building. This may not be a daily occurrence. And for me, it was no big deal at all, just something to be aware of. Since I'm local, I'm not sure if I will have the opportunity to stay here again, but I highly recommend it!

Most staff are really good. Downtown location with included parking is nice. We encountered a series of maintenance issues -- our toilet was difficult to flush and could not be fixed quickly, so they moved us to a nicer room. But then the elevator briefly broke, and there was a sewage leak in the parking area. But I suspect these were fluke occurrences.Walkability: Downtown and many stores, restaurants, bars etc. are walkable

One of the best hotels in town. Centrally located, close to many of the Davis restaurants and attractions and associated with Cafe Bernardo and the Tiki Bar which is one of my go to places for lunch and dinner. This hotel can be expensive though. So make reservations earlier.

Just had an incredibly frustrating experience with the parking at this hotel. We got in at about 10:20pm, the garage was full even though the front desk said it shouldn’t be - there were 5 empty rooms. Turns out it’s staff from the restaurant parked in the spaces for the hotel but they can’t do anything about it! What’s the point with having reserved spaces for hotel guests then??? Front desk said we can park on the side of the ramp going into the garage and could leave it there overnight. We have a rental car so this made us very nervous but there’s no other choice because you can’t park overnight Fridays on the street. So we park on the ramp and go to bed. As soon as we fall asleep, we’re awaken by a call from front desk that a spot opened up and we should move. Asked if we could stay parked on the ramp overnight and the guy said better not to. So we get out of bed at 11:30pm to move our car. Now we can’t fall back asleep.

We had king suite very nice and beautiful loved the balcony very nice for our family. Hotel mantince was very quick when needed. Very understanding to my 2 year old artistic child. Tiki bar was very good to. The restaurant that is not associated with the hotel not good at all. We asked for chicken sandwich and fries. got fish instead two of our kids at the fries and got fish food poisoning and was throwing up all night, the manager the next day tried to say it was his restaurant but my kids didn't eat anything else. I wasn't happy with restaurant at all.. but the hotel is awesome I would recommend it 100% to anyone..

Whenever we travel from SoCal to NoCal we make a point to stay at the BW Palm Court. Perfect downtown location with clean rooms with nice thoughtful amenities. Staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Always a pleasant experience

This place was quite the surprise for the price. We got a King Suite which was rather large, updated, and very clean. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and the lobby is very inviting with a beautiful floral wall. The location was also a huge plus as we were able to walk just about everywhere that we wanted to go. We would definitely like to stay here again next time we are in town.

The hotel is in a great location if you are in town and don't want to drive around. Also close to UCD. Rooms are spacious. Only downside is if you are above the cafe, you may hear people talking and hanging out. It's my go to place whenever I'm in town or need to book a place for a friend.

Cute hotel. Very centrally located in downtown. It is an older hotel. The cable had some issues but not their fault. They were nice and tried to fix it for us.

I had a room on the first floor , over the entryway to the parking area below and was concerned it would be noisy--but it was not! Very quiet. No noise from above or the street. Very comfortable bed. Two TVs one in bedroom and one in sitting room with sofa couch. Refrigerator which worked. There is a restaurant adjacent, called Cafe Bernardo, which was great for breakfast and an early lunch. You are within walking distance to a number of restaurants, coffee houses, theaters, book stores and about 3-4 blocks from UC Davis and the Arboretum. Very convenient. Parking below. Very hot at this time of year and AC worked well. It was an easy, convenient stay for a brief visit and I was happy with the accommodations.
