My massage with Sherry was just what I needed. Very attentive and focused. Great techniques. Made sure the pressure was right for me throughout. And was friendly whether you want to chat or would prefer a quiet session. Was a very comfortable session and wouldn’t hesitate to book again with her!

Nico provided superior masseur skills from when I entered the establishment with customer service asking me if I was enjoying my day in the wonderful weather on that Friday to making nice jokes connecting with me personally to her superb full body massage technique with gentleness and STRENGTH combined. I was even aware of her folding the linens around the limbs technique! I fell asleep several times and feel relaxed a day after the massage to which I generally don't feel the affects the next day. Nico deserves a raise and some praise!

On 8/27/2023 I discovered that Massage Envy had charged my card for an amount exceeding $600. However, my understanding was that my account was on hold, as I had more than 20 services available. At no point was I contacted by Massage Envy to authorize such a substantial charge, nor were there any prior attempts made to charge my bank account for previous services.According to Massage Envy, they claim that the hold on my account had expired, and they had attempted to withdraw the first month's payment several months ago. However, upon reviewing my bank records, there is no evidence to support their claim. I did not provide any authorization for Massage Envy to charge my account for over $600.What exacerbates this situation is the lack of communication from Massage Envy. I was not informed that I needed to initiate a new freeze on my account, nor was I notified that charges would commence in the meantime. Additionally, when I spoke to three different individuals at the Davis location, they each provided conflicting explanations for the incident.Furthermore, I would like to express my disappointment with the account manager's behavior during our interaction. She was extremely rude and condescending, showing no empathy for the predicament that Massage Envy's actions caused. Despite explaining how this situation has affected my ability to pay my mortgage and other bills this month, the account manager displayed no concern and seemed solely focused on maximizing the company's profits.

I am trying to end my one year membership for several months so that it’s not renewed for another year with no success. I’ve been calling Massage Envy as well as talking with them in in person. This morning a person on call who said to be manager told me that she will send me membership cancellation forms over email right away, which of course hasn’t happened. Awful! I don’t understand whom I should contact about this terrible situation.

We have tried to cancel the membership for more than half months with more than 10 calls. They will automatically renew your membership for second year and refuse to cancel your membership.

do not give these people your credit card. we have tried to cancell this payment for 3 months running. they continue to say they will refund the payments and then just continue to draw on the card. we have had to cancell the card to get them to stop.

I hate that is has come to giving a Yelp review to an establishment that I visited OVER A YEAR AGO--but I have no choice. I should've read the reviews and something in my gut told me not to sign up for a membership and BOY, DO I REGRET IT!!!! Firstly, I visited this location a year ago, sometime in May with my mom, whom lives in Vacaville. If my memory serves me correctly, we visited the Davis location because the Vacaville location didn't have any openings or availability for massages. My mom works out a lot and I thought it would be a nice mother and daughter self care Sunday when we visited massage envy. It was my first time and my LAST TIME at massage envy. Literally the only time I ever visited any massage envy establishment and I've been emailing them and calling them and getting so many excuses on how to terminate my contract. The experience was like a 2/5, I love massages but it was subpar. I only signed up with my mom because at the time, with my moms influence, at the time, we planned to get massages together but even that is next to impossible as the availability in Vacaville is always booked! So, our memberships go unused and our bank accounts continued to be charged. Smh. I put my account on a 4 month freeze as I was told I couldn't cancel until a year later. Now it's been a year and I'm told that I can't cancel because I've only made 8 payments instead of the full 12 since I had the freeze. Prior to that I have been told on multiple occasions I can only terminate if I moved away from a massage envy location within 25 miles from me or if I have a doctors note--what type of mess is this??? That's right. I've been paying over $500 for a membership I don't even use! CRIMINAL!!! There's no way out. BEWARE OF MESSAGE ENVY. ASK QUESTIONS. READ THE CONTRACT AND EVERY DETAIL. I AM BEING ROBBED. THIS SHOULD BE A CRIME!!!! I really hope I can terminate this contract. I have never ever gotten into something a binding as this. Lol and I've signed many contracts. This is wild. CONSIDER THIS YOUR WARNING!!

Do not join the monthly massage/service program. They have been a nightmare to deal with since the pandemic began. I have attempted to place multiple holds on my account and they continue to charge us. I have instructed they are not authorized to charge my card, yet they continue to do so. Very frustrating.

This was my first massage at massage envy and I was really excited because I have really bad back pain and I was hoping to get a massage to relieve the tension before my important test the next day. The ladies at the front were very nice when checking me in and asking what areas I needed focus on. The gentleman who did my massage was also really nice and helpful with tips for my back pain but the massage itself was SO disappointing. The entire massage was over a sheet. Most massages start with a short massage over the sheet then go into the remainder of the massage with lotion. I personally hate the part over the sheet and wish they would just go straight into it with lotion. The ENTIRE massage was over a sheet and it was awful! I didn't get any lotion and I had to tell him multiple times to focus on my middle and upper back but didn't get that. His technique was basically just shoving his elbow and pressing really hard in one spot. He also would pull my leg and arms and stretch it while pressing in one spot and it was really uncomfortable on my knees specifically. I told him I have a ton of knots up top but he didn't work any of them out. I didn't feel any relief what so ever and was extremely disappointed with the fact I got no lotion and no actual massage since all he did was pressure points and stretching. I also arrived early and was still shorted about 15 minutes of a massage. When checking out up front I told the two ladies about my experience and they were helpful with recommending a different massage therapist that may fit my needs. They offered the same $65 intro price for my next one which was nice but I was expecting a discount or possibly a free massage being that I pretty much didn't get one since it was over a sheet the entire time. I saw that the owner commented on other negative reviews to leave a review at the link provided so I tried sending a message explaining what happened and it said I would receive a response in 24-48 hours. It's been a whole week and I've received no response. If they want me to be a returning customer they should show their concern by responding and trying to get me a better price but no response tells me they don't want my business. Due to this I'm considering canceling my upcoming appointment and don't plan to return. It's sad because I was considering the membership but I won't be now.
