always understaffed. not sure why they need 8 teller stations when there's always just one teller working. Not to mention the people who come in to do the most time consuming tasks when they should've just made appointments when others want to make a quick in and out transaction.. just tell them to make an appointment and come back later.

The U.S., Bank branch in Davis hits it out of the ballpark again. First Impressions; As I entered the branch I noticed a well-dressed banker casually slouched in his chair as he did business with a customer.,, against the backdrop of a LOUD music station blasting rock & roll and commercials. My teller was gracious when I commented that "It might appeal to students but seemed quite unprofessional to me." and she said "Sometimes it's even louder" Yikes! Again.

Why do your ATMs dispense $100 bills when few places accept them as payment? Many places only take maximums of $20 bills.

I had a similar experience to that of Mendel L. who wrote a review on this thread. Only instead of eating my Debit card the ATM machine at this branch ate a check I was trying to deposit in my savings account. The machine simply crashed and said it was out of order. I waited a long time hoping it would spit the check out but it kept attempting to reboot and crashing over and over again. This happened on a Sunday. Fast forward to Monday morning after 10 a.m. I call the branch local phone number but nobody answers and it redirects me to go on-line. I drive to the bank, go inside and explain what happened. (The handwritten "out of order" sign I stuck on the ATM was still there. ) The cashier went to the ATM machine and said my check was not in the machine. They claim it just vanished into thin air and it is on ME to stop payment on the check and get the check reissued by the maker. I have now done this but it will be several weeks before a new check can be issued. Meanwhile, I assume somewhere in the guts of their ATM machine my check sits. I highly recommend against using their ATM machines. We had acceptable service from U.S. Bank for over a decade before this. Their response to this ATM issue was unacceptable to me. If they want to have sophisticated computerized ATM machines then they better train the staff how to retrieve checks out of them when they get jammed. Or perhaps it is their policy not to return jammed checks. Seriously looking to switch to a local credit union after this.

Great customer service by Rose Granger in Davis at the US Bank. We just moved to Davis and walking into the bank she really know customer service. She is friendly, knowledgable and has always a smile on her face. She is terrific! When I bring my dog Charlie in she gives him a treat and he loves it!!! I could not have been more welcome by Rose. She greets me when she sees me and I love US Bsnk in Davis. She makes me feel at home.

I have several US Bank accounts. My deceased mother was a huge fan of US Bank. I have had numerous documents notarized here pertaining to her trust documents, as well as for my accounts, for my mortgage and HELOC all of which I have through US Bank. Suffice it to say, they have every piece of financial information about me which exists. I needed a document notarized from the State of California to claim an overage in account held by my mother. One page just claiming it was my signature. Rose is the notary and told me she would jot be able to do it today because she had another customer. whe I asked to make an appointment to come back she then said she wasn't comfortable notarizing documents other than US Bank docs..... went down to PFQ who doesn't know me from any other customer-- took 3 minutes. I was always under the impression notary services were part of bank services. Prince-- could you look into this? thanks

The Teller and Assistant Manager at this location Denied me Access to my AVAILABILE BALANCE. Then told me my ability to withdraw my AVAILABILE Cash was dependent upon their Judgement of me and my Business Account...Let me remind you that the cash I wanted to withdraw was less than My Total AVAILABLE BALANCE..!!!!

My husband had been a customer of this branch for over 30 years. Recently the bank started charging him a $5 per month fee for "account analysis." He called the phone number on his statement to find out what it was for and what to do to get it removed. They said they could remove it if he signed up for paperless statements. He said he'd be happy to sign up, would they remove the charge. They said that they couldn't remove the charge because he wasn't a "signer" on his own account and needed to go to a branch in person. So, off to downtown Davis Saturday morning to do just that. Well it was more than that, the tellers did not have the authority to handle signatures so they said he would have to wait for the "banker" but she was busy doing something important (implying that he was not important.) When he pressed for how long he would have to wait they finally said 40 minutes. Why should anyone have to wait that long to follow the bank's ridiculous procedures to remove a $5 charge? He ended up closing his account and will no longer bank with U.S. Bank.

So, yesterday I went to make a deposit into their out door ATM machine. The machine took 650.00$ cash, and returned 550.00 back to me.. IT then prompted me saying there was an error and my funds where returned. Went inside of the branch to ask for help, advising them there was a mix up and the ATM ate 100$ of mine. No one knew what to do, constantly verbally tap dancing, advising me to Contact my bank so they could get a claim set up to return my money. It's been over 24 hours, so I called the branch for an update on when I would be getting my money back. Still no progress has been made, the lady on the phone asked for the same information I have given to them numerous times. Pretty ridiculous, I wonder what they would do if they were in my shoes.
