I called the other day to see if a feral cat I was feeding who went missing was there. The woman who answered the phone was rude. Before I even finished the question she cut me off and sharply said "NO!" Then I asked if there was any road kill reports, and she didn't even let me say my street or city. She just rudely said "NO" again. I was already worried and upset. The way she spoke to me was very unprofessional. I'm gonna think twice before I donate animal food to them again. There are other rescues I can support in this county.

It's a beautiful place. But they charged me $250 to get my puppy back, that someone had found and dropped him off there. Don't get me wrong, I'm very appreciative that he was safe, but $250 that's outrageous.

These people are shameful extorting $600 dollars from me and threatening to sell my dog to someone else for $175 but they won't let me or anybody that knows me to adopt my 12 year old dog after 10 days.I was told cash only and a 12 year old dog most likely be adopted so they will have to put him down.I asked if I could see him one last time or at least yell "good boy" down the hall and they flat out told me if i had six hundred cash i could do what i wanted if not "you'll never see him again".makes no sense that they dont try to reunify dogs and owners at the same price as they would adopt him out, they are treating my dog as a revenue source and not as a member of my family, and to be this spiteful and cruel is down right sedistic someone should fire whoever is in charge and realize that kennel space would be better served with a dog that Needs it not a dog that needs to be with his family.Update.I managed to get together $600 right before the deadline to get my dog back, the young lady (I didnt catch her name) that brought my dog to me from the back was very delightful and friendly and seemed like she genuinely cared and loki seemed to like her quite a bit as well.Aside from that when I got him home I noticed he was lethargic and coughing really bad.I called the shelter to ask what was going on and was hung up on and my subsequent calls were fowarded to voicemail mail. After several attempts I called from a different number and it was answered on the first ring by Mary, the dispatcher, she was cordial and as helpful as she could be.I requested to talk to a supervisor that refused to talk to me and said talk to the county. The supervisor above her refused my call as well. After a little persistence Mary relayed some information that my dog was not vaccinated for kennel cough upon being brought there like every cat and dog that get there automatically, with no explanation except I ask too many questions.I took loki to the vet and he was diagnosed with kennel cough and k9 distemper that he got will in the shelter. He fought like a champ but died 5 days after bringing him home. These people murdered my dog and can't be bothered to take a phone call.Im filing a lawsuit so please share your similar experiences and hold these people accoutable.

It's the first place to go to adopt a pet. Also, on Saturday's 9am-1pm is free vaccine and chip day.

I've been in a lot of animal shelters in search for new dog. Hands down. This is the most beautiful, cleanest, precious smelling animal shelter I have visited. It was a pleasure to adopt my new for friends from them.

They had a dog I wanted to rescue , they have a rule if you have a dog at home you must bring your dog to them to see if the 2 dogs would be compatible.. I couldn’t do that as my dog gets car sick. A dog I rescued from their shelter …. so they wouldn’t let me have the rescue dog .. next day I went to the Bradshaw animal shelter and got a rescue dog from them ,, This should not be a rule , just a suggestion to bring your dog for a visit .. this rule is mandatory from the manager …

Thank you to the very caring persons who assisted me in giving peace to my Chance with so much compassion for a very well loved and loving four-legged family member, two-legged family member and her ... two of my dearest friends that took over when I couldn't, and the staff who made it so much easier. Thank you EDC Animal Rescue.

Thank you for giving us our dear Kennedy (renamed Lucky) 3 months ago. He is so happy. He has another Jack Russel and Greyhound as visiting family and gets along well with them. He loves people too. He is lovable and likes his toys and family. We are blessed and so “lucky” to have him. We were so impressed with the shelter cleanliness and staff.
