I went during the business hours stated, however they closed early. Riding my bike all the way there and seeing them closed not following business hourse posted. Furthermore, I called their cell phone to see if they on break or when they will return. They were very rude and not polite. Guess I have to go to Walmart, better service and better prices.

Lloyd and his lovely daughter are the best! I absolutely my "new" bike! You can't beat the customer service at this store w/awesome vintage bikes. Lloyd know everything about bikes and even gave me a history lesson on the bike I purchased.

When my husband brought me to the shop - I was blown away. Unless you are specifically going to this place, you won't even notice it! This is the place to go if you need a bike repair. Great people, great service, awesome shop.

Their knowledge of bicycles and a person's needs was astounding. Even more so, was their willingness to share that information. They care about their craft and the work they do, as well as, the people they are doing the work for. Best bike shop experience I've had. Will be a faithful goer hence forth.

I was a kid in the mid 70's loving BMX! I remember going to Lloyd's bike shop when it was on Huntington dr. Back in the day my dad and Lloyd knew each other, my dad worked at a plastics molding company in Monrovia and he worked out a deal with Lloyd to make plastic BMX number plates and fenders for a trade on my very own Lloyd's custom bicycle! What I wouldn't give to have that bike today! I grew up in Duarte and my friends and I would ride all over the town and especially down to the old BMX track below the tracks and back then there were plenty of empty lots around town we could build jumps and berms and race around, those were the days! Just the other day I rode my mountain bike from my home in Glendora through Duarte and stopped at Lloyd's shop!

Lloyd Shop is one of the oldest shop in and around Duarte, He is old but very skillful at what he does, he was able to tell whats wrong with my bik e in few minutes, he doesn't charge you much and I love the fact that helped a local business, also mike bike is all fixed up and ready to go!

Mr Loyd is a personable man. He knows a lot about bikes. I thought my bike needed a lot of work but he just tightened a few things and he didn't even charge me. What a guy. He's a bit on the older side though. Great shop. The only thing I didn't like was that it's a bit untidy. It just seems like he needs a helping hand.

Lloyd is a guy with an awesome personality. His shop is very cool. Lots of antique items and good bikes...the real kind, not that cheap crap that sells nowadays. Stop by and enjoy the experience. You might go in looking for a bike or bike parts and may come out with some vintage item. Definitely worth the visit!!

Mr. Lloyd is a businessman who is quite the character. He knows bikes, repairs them with good reliable parts and backs them up. We need to support small businesses such as his since they cannot compete with larger ones like Walmart. BTW, don't go looking to find a 'new' bike. All the bikes are restored to good working condition. Lloyd has several customers who has befriended him and brings him good food and companionship. When I go visit I would easily spend 1 to 2 hrs just talking & listening to his stories of the good ol' days and of present 'what's happening now' in the news. I have bought a Columbia bike (circa 1958) from him a year and a half ago and love riding it down to the beach from Duarte every now & then. See ya on the bike path!
