After a couple times playing pickleball at Lindo Lake park in Lakeside, the good folks told me I could get free lessons at Red Shield, El Cajon. The place is new is clean! I remember it being built just a few years ago but didn't know it was a recreation center. Signing up was easy, and was promptly instructed to do practice drills. Within 15 minutes, I was playing doubles with other newbies. Then was told to go to the middle court to learn next level instructions. I learned a lot today from the three instructors and met friendly people too! Excited to keep advancing so I signed up for next Thursday's lesson.

If anyone is in need of food and supplies for your family The Salvation Army is the place to be. I'm not sure buts I think most of the people working there volunteer but never the less their attitude and mannerisms are so on point with the way you would see ones that work at such a place. Make sure you bring whatever you can to show them the number of people you have in your house hold and they will hook you up...
