I highly recommend Busy Bees Preschool for your preschool needs! The school is clean, warm and inviting. The teachers and children are all genuinely happy! They are all engaged, playing and laughing. The environment, both inside and outside, are full of positive and supportive energy. The teachers are very kind, knowledgeable and obviously enjoy being teachers at Busy Bees Preschool. Kudos to the administrators who run a very successful and fun school!

Excellent preschool! Both of our children love it here. The class sizes are small which helps the children get plenty of individual attention from their teachers. The staff have been wonderful to our children as they entered and adjusted to the preschool environment. We were worried our son with special needs would not be able to handle the classroom environment, but he has done well. Many thanks to Miss Irene and Miss Kelly for giving our children the attention they need. Both of our children bonded with Miss Irene in the Honey Bees program and we are very thankful for her :)

Busy Bees went through an ownership change in early 2022.SafetyMy kids came home scratched up and bruised multiple times, and I never got a report of the incident. When I asked what happened to my daughter to the main teacher, the teacher had no idea and the teacher said to follow up but never got a response back.COVID-19 responseThe staff never wore masks and never required kids to wear masks but one Monday all staff were masked up, it was eerie. Later that day, the school notified me that my kids were exposed to COVID-19 with no details of exposure, and the school was closed for a week. The tuition was reimbursed.Discipline PolicyThere was a child who is disruptive and harmful to other students, the school had no procedure to correct the kid's behavior. The kid was aware of no consequences for his behavior and bullied kids who were playing alone or kids who doesn't retaliate. Teachers appeared not responsive until kids scream, cry, or tell teachers for help. Basic manners such as taking turns, sharing with others, and being kind to others were not important to teachers and were not disciplined. If these are not taught in a school, why should I even bother sending my kid here? My kid got chased, sand over her hair, and her sand castle was destroyed by one kid. The staff never tried to stop the bullying behavior, they didn't even know it was happening.Teacher-to-Student ratioThe school advertises a 1:6 ratio. One teacher and two assistant teachers for 18 kids. However, that's only in the classroom. When kids are outside at the playground, the teacher stays inside the classroom and only assistant teachers are monitoring the kids..

As a former elementary principal, my standards are HIGH! I have two girls who have attended Busy Bees - one who is still there and one in elementary school (but is ecstatic each morning to visit the school for little sister's drop-off). The teachers are warm, inviting, and truly care about the safety and well-being of each and every child.Communication with families is a strong suit of the teachers and owner. I always know what's going on in my child's class. Teachers truly care about the whole child - helping them learn but also encouraging and supporting their activities and interests in and outside the classroom. Our Busy Bees teacher even came to our girls' ballet recital and cheered on (and brought flowers for) all the Busy Bees students who performed.I have never questioned safety of my children while at Busy Bees. The curriculum is top-notch and has undoubtedly prepared my girls for TK and kindergarten. This preschool is phenomenal and I'm going to be sad when our littlest kiddo graduates and moves on to the next chapter. The way the school handled Covid protocols was very much supportive of the childrens' well-being and comfort level with face coverings, etc.

I have been a Busy Bee parent for 5 years now. All three of my children have attended Busy Bees and it is seriously the best gem of preschool that exists. Every single one of the teachers is handpicked that meet high standards of care for our children. They must have credentials, pass background checks but equally importantly, they must really care and love the kids. The owner does such an amazing job hiring the teachers to really love and engage the kids. The facility went through a refresh with the new owners last year and there are updated keypad access, misters for the kids to play outside, new equipment and freshly painted decor. It's beautiful. My two oldest are in elementary school now and all of their teachers have always said 'we can totally tell when a kid has been to busy bees. They are always more prepared for school!' I really can't say enough about how much I love being a Busy Bee family. I absolutely love everything about Busy Bees, the teachers, the facility, the educational materials, and the owners.

Definitely worth checking out! Great location, teachers and staff are so welcoming and caring. They have two big classrooms and a huge colorful, bright wall that was painted. Very welcoming when you walk in. Outdoor area is a good size with lots of outdoor activities! New owners took over this year and have such a big heart for the kids and school. Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd year enrolled my 2 girls at Busy Bees. I am glad I signed them up for the STEM class. I was skeptical at first worry that the curriculum is similar to the preschool class they are in. It is NOT the same. Ms Seema first year teaching the STEM class. She is amazing, very caring, and patience with the kids. The girls love her.I love seeing the girls get excited on the subject they learned and telling me about it when I picked them up. Their favorite is the binary code, electricity, technology & circuits.... Their dad was working on something over the wknd and the girls said to dad, "that is a circuit board". Melt my heart that they remember and talk about it at home.

Busy Bees is amazing. The teachers in the classrooms who work with the kids are so kind and reassuring to the young kids. Our son is moving on to kindergarten, and because of the curriculum, structure and positive interaction he had at Busy Bees we are confident his transition will go well. Additionally, we enrolled him in the STEM program two afternoons a week which he loved. The STEM program was a hands on, fun and safe way for him and his friends to start using logic and structure to interpret their world and find answers to his "why" questions. We browsed several preschools in El Dorado Hills before choosing Busy Bees and it has been an excellent choice for his safety, education and personal growth. We will miss the staff, but owe them a debt of gratitude for their contribution to our son's development.

Both of my kids love Busy Bees! The teachers are well experienced, loving, and caring about each child. The class size and the ratio are excellent so each child gets enough attention. My older daughter spoke in different language at home and didn’t know how to speak in English until preschool but she had an easy transition both academically and socially when she got in kindergarten because of Busy Bees. She learned so much from the preschool programs, teachers and of course, great friends! Now she is in second grade and doing everything well at school. My younger one started going to Busy Bees this school year. One of great things is that both of my kids had a same head teacher. My daughter feels very comfortable to be in Busy Bees from the first day and wants to go to preschool everyday! She always has fun activities with her friends at Busy Bees. The owner is well organized and always give us updates so the parents are able to know what’s going on. The classrooms and bathrooms are always clean. We love Busy Bees and highly recommend this preschool.

Our child is finishing her second year with Busy Bees and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The staff is very professional and caring. Every day is full of creative ways of teaching and simple fun that the kids need so much. The teacher to student ratio is very impressive and gives lots of one on one attention to the kids. Thanks to this great preschool we are confident our girl will be well prepared for kindergarten. Highly recommend!

Busy Bees is a great preschool! The teachers do a wonderful job of coming up with engaging and creative activities each day. It's nice that they do an assortment of jobs ranging from crafts, to academics, and everything in between! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming to the kids AND parents!I also appreciate the smaller class size. I love knowing that my daughter gets a lot of one-on-one attention, while still being part of a well sized group of kids all working together.I would recommend Busy Bees to anyone who wants their kids to have a fun and creative experience at school!

Busy Bees is a special place for our family. All three of my daughters attended this preschool. I have two that have graduated and one that is currently enrolled. My older daughters were more than prepared for kindergarten after graduating the Bumblebees class. They received an excellent foundation for academics . The program is a great balance between play and classroom readiness. The teachers and director are fantastic; everyone is professional, yet warm and caring. My daughter LOVES to go to preschool. I highly recommend this quality preschool program.

Our children love going to Busy Bees! They have a great time learning new concepts as well as making great friends. As a parent, I find the staff very caring and nurturing. They keep us very well informed of everything happening at school and in the community. The facility is bright, stimulating and impeccably clean! I can't wait for my youngest to start there!

My daughter is in her 2nd year of preschool at busy bee's and loves it. The teachers are amazing, the school is always very clean and my daughter has learned so much, she is ready for kindergarten in the fall. My son will start Busy Bee's next school year and is beyond excited. I'm so happy to have found Busy Bee's, my children's futures are off to bright starts.
