I really like this hotel. I like the location and the value. Rooms are cute and comfortable and the bay windows are a nice touch. It is also nostalgic for us as we stayed at this hotel in 1996 when we were on honeymoon where we drove up and down the Coast for a week. We came back again for the first time in 2023 and again this weekend and were pleased. We like that it is close enough to walk to Pillar Point Harbor, but also not in the middle of all the cars and people. Staff very nice as well. We will be back.

This inn is charming and we (2 couples) (2 rooms) king size beds with a view of the harbor. The amenities are many. Wolfgang puck coffee packets for the room and a kettle for hot water. In the reception area there is a variety of tea bags as complementary. There is a juice machine and they also provide coffee there too. The room was spacious and clean. We are cyclists and the bike path was across the way by the harbor. And it was a great path for cycling and for individuals who want to walk. Plenty of benches to rest and take in the beauty. Restaurants are plenty in the area to choose from. Hope this review is helpful.

The ad for Harborview Inn online is very deceiving, it's about a quarter of a mile walk. There is no views of the Harbor, just the loud busy hi way 1.

What a great place to stay. Location was perfect for what we needed and you will not find a more attentive and helpful staff. We cannot wait to come back and stay again.

The hotel is in a great spot with new rooms and friendly staff but the walls in the rooms are paper thin, so you will hear everything your neighbors are saying/doing. Headboards share walls between rooms, making voices, TV, and movement particularly loud at night.
If it wasn't for that, this would be a good place to recommend, as the rooms are nice overall.

Cancellation policy clearly stated I'd be refunded if I cancelled. That didn't happen, even after calling and discussing this multiple times. Don't trust this business.

Absolutely adored the room. I was there for a cooking class that I did in Half Moon Bay and sleeping over after the storm was so comfortable the room was warm inviting and I loved it. Pratima was fabulous as well as all of the other staff. I highly recommend this hotel because you open your window and you see the ocean

Mold on the wall in the bathroom, found bed bugs in our sheets that obviously had not been changed….. the room was disgustingly dirty. Lots of road noise hardly got any sleep. HORRENDOUS hotel, way overpriced and we were charged a “$100 cash deposit” that we weren’t unable to get back… with no explanation.

We were charged a $100 cash deposit upon arrival, were not given a receipt for the deposit either. Despite the room being clean and no damage they refused to refund the deposit. The room was $252 dollars for one night in a queen room which was already ridiculously over priced considering the hotel offers essentially no amenities. Staff was rude, at the end of the day staying here cost me $352 dollars, didn't check in until 12:00AM and checked out at 11, biggest rip off of a hotel. STEER CLEAR
