I’ve been going for a few years now for my friend’s band playing live karaoke (Porkchop Express) but decided to celebrate my 50th here with just my friends. Michael put me in touch with everyone I needed (taco cart, bartender) to make the night go off without a hitch and worked with me every step of the way until the party was over. Porkchop Express made me and everyone feel like rock stars with live band karaoke. The space accommodated my party without anyone feeling cramped and he even added a table in the back area so people could sit and eat while still getting to the stage to rock out and dance. I highly recommend the space for your party needs!!!

The absolute best venue in the South Bay!!
We had our wedding reception here and everyone LOVED IT!
We had close to 160 people and it fit everyone perfectly!
From the dance floor to the outside area to the upstairs rooftop deck- everyone had the best time.
We had food trucks which had easy access to the outdoor area.
And most of all the owner Michael made the whole planning so easy. He is incredibly helpful and gave us great ideas with his knowledge of party planning at the venue.
He met with us multiple times to plan out the event and was so great.
Thank you SBC for making our wedding night so special! We will never forget this night!!

This place is truly has our heart! We were planning our wedding and reception ourselves and knew we wanted to throw our party in the South Bay- keeping it homegrown.
I took some time to google event spaces in the South Bay and the name of this place grabbed my attention. Response rate was prompt and we were scheduled to tour the space.
Our heartstrings were tugged - walking into a curated vintage garage seamlessly turned into a spunky and full of life event space. My vision felt like it found its place.
Things that captivated the vision: decorated walls full of personality, some high tables, a stage, full sound and light capabilities, a bar, hybrid indoor/outdoor feel, live tv feeds, and rooftop patio.
Working with Michael and Corina was professional and a breeze. They were responsive and listened to our ideas and communicated their recommendations based on the space and what could happen.
I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous with how the reception would play out. We anticipated a little over 100…. But naturally, that grew to a little over 150 (plus vendors/staff).
With hard work, planning, professional vendors, and dedicated execution team- our dream wedding party exceeded our dreams and expectations. IT WAS TRULY OUR PARTY OF OUR LIFETIME!
We had an MC and DJ, live band, grazing table outside and then served luxe bento boxes for dinner. Full bar service and the dance floor full all night long!
Our parents were skeptics of how this party and venue would find itself in equilibrium for our special occasion; they’re still raving about the party till this day! Our guests of all ages (we only included children of the family) partied their butts off - sang and danced all night. You know we had to have a LA Dirty dog (bacon wrapped hot dog) vendor serve for late night munchies.
This is a great place to be creative (within boundaries) and really turn your DIY vibe dreams come true. We will be back for a future event and hope you get to have a lifetime experience here- you won’t regret it!

South Bay Customs is an amazing venue! My wife and I hosted our baby shower at SBC, and it could not have gone better. Michael was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the booking process, during the lead up to the event, and during the event itself. I would absolutely love to book another event with them in the future.

We'd visited this space several times over the years during El Segundo Art Walk and always thought what a great place to have a party, so when my husband wanted to celebrate his 60th birthday in style, this was the place! With the stage already set up for a DJ and/or band, and a great space for dancing, bar and room for dining at the back, who could ask for more? Our party was a great success in no small party thanks to Michael, who couldn't have been more helpful.

We held our annual company party at South Bay Customs and it was an amazing event! The venue is so interesting and perfect with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Michael was responsive and easy to work with in making all the arrangements. It was much more fun and enjoyable than going to a restaurant, which we had historically done.

Just so happened that we went to hear a few bands, one was Fleetwood Mac and that was the day Christy McVie had passed away. The band played tribute to Christy and they dressed just like them. Also a tribute band for Red Hot Chili peppers the music was great I personally didn't care for the singer, he just didn't come close. But had a blast.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! This place is exceptional! The interior decor is unique overall the venue has plenty of space to move around.We hosted an event here for LA Tech Week and the vibe did not disappoint! The suggested vendors were also easy to work with, and we received great support from planning stages all the way to the end of our event. We really enjoyed ourselves and our guests loved the space.It's basically a turnkey venue with everything you need to host an event. Highly recommend booking this place if you're looking for something fun and unusual that's not your typical event space!
