Extremely satisfied with my car rental experience. The wife and husband managers were extremely helpful and courteous - they helped me find the right vehicle at the right price with my AAA and military discounts. The car I was provided - Nissan Murano - was a delight to drive! The one month rental fee was unbeatable. The return process was hassle free and there were no hidden charges or fees. I definitely recommend dealing with Raman and her husband . . . and Avis/Budget.

I've been an Avis customer since 1996. I used to rent cars from the 16th street location, however I moved to Ek Grove in 2019. My car was in the shop since March 20th, and the dealer sponsored a rental from Enterprise for me. When the rental period ran out, I paid for a few additional days with Enterprise. My car repair was taking more time than expected, and Enterprise's pricing was higher than what I was used to, so I turned the car back in. I made a reservation through Avis for a premium vehicle. When I arrived to pick up my car, there was a customer in the office cursing and screaming at the staff about their rental. I didn't really pay it any attention because I've been a customer for over 20 years and I had never had a bad experience. I get my car. The clerk told me I could choose between a toyota camry or honda accord. I asked if there were any other cars i could choose from, he said no. I was in a rush so I took the car. The clerk (Mohsen) then reviewed the contract with me. Part of the contract involved the tolls. Mohsen stated that there would be a $6 upcharge per toll for the tolls, but he stated I could also pay a one time fee and get unlimited tolls. So I agreed to pay the one time fee. I asked for clarity, saying I go through the tolls every day because I commute. My wife was standing next to me and she asked for clarity that I would not have to pay $6 additional per day. I explained that I have a fast track that I could retrieve from my car that was in the shop if that was the case. He said "no, it's unlimited tolls." So I believed him. While I had the rental, I had several instances where I had the tire pressure light come on. I spent money filling the tires, I even took it to America's tire company to have it checked. Also, the cover that is right behind the rear view eventually I took the car back to Avis and the owner (Raman) took a look at it and said she didnt know what was wrong. She said I could choose another car but it would be a step down from what I had, and the car was dirty. I declined and just kept the car I had. When I brought the car back, the owner demanded I wash the car, or pay $250 fee to have her wash it. In my whole time of renting cars, I have never had to wash one. I have prided myself on bringing the car back without any major dirt beyond the normal. I didnt complain however, I took it to quick quack and in 5 minutes it was washed. When Raman was printing my receipt, she said "wow, you paid alot in toll fees", so I asked her what she meant. She showed me where they charged me for tolls, and then showed me the $6 surcharge that Avis charged me every day. I informed her that when I rented the car, I was told about the one time fee by her employee, and I was assured I would not be charged the daily surcharge. The owner laughed and said "sucks to be you". When I asked her to adjust the charges she refused, I asked her to call her employee, because based on the customer that came in right before me (that she admitted to him that Mohsen makes alot of errors) he probably made a mistake here too. I called my wife on speaker phone and told her I was charged the surcharges. My wife, without prompting, stated exactly what Mohsen told me. The owner then stated that in order to get my money back, I would need to call corporate, even though she admitted that she receives the surcharge. When I called corporate, they said the franchise has to refund the money. I could go on, but basically this franchise is horrible, and I will never rent a car from Avis again. It has been a horrible ordeal and by comparison, Enterprise just charged my card for the amount I owed for the tolls. Avis has become like the spirit airlines of car rentals. They have a low price but then find ways to screw you. I shouldve read yelp before renting.l never again.

My wife rented a car here.Terrible customer service(she talked on the phone instead of us?) Then we got a stern warning and told “get it detailed” if we didn’t want cleaning fees!!! Worst service I’ve ever had the lady was rude. I had to go down and wash the car vacuum your car out. She accuse me have an animals in the car, which I don’t have any animals in my household.

Per my contract, my Avis car rental should have been $335.29. I received a receipt the morning after returning the car stating I was being charged $436. The total included a $15.00 late fee. I returned the car 1/2 before the agreed return upon time and tried to give the key to the Avis staff member on site, but she would not accept it and indicated I had to put it in the drop box. Apparently this allows them to wait until the following day so they can charge an extra day. I called customer service to inquire as to why I was being billed $436.11 when my contract was $335.29. The customer service representative assured me the charges would only be $335.29 (per my signed contract), but when I checked my bank account after the call, he had charged me an additional $535.29 for a grand total of $971.40. This is totally unacceptable. My contract is for $335.29 and Avis has charged my credit car triple that amount. Now I'm the one who has to jump through hoops to get the charges removed while they hold my money!

Horrible experience! I reserved a rental for 4:30. The website and the sign on the door posted closing time of 4:45pm. I arrived at 4:32 and the office was closed! I was stranded in the rain and cold along with my 6 yr old niece! I called customer service. The person on the line tried hard to find me another location nearby with cars available. No luck, there were no cars available and the locations closed at 5pm. Customer service located a car at the airport and recommended I take an UBER. I would receive reimbursement if ride to airport was over 50 miles; if not the cost was on me, Customer service also offered to discount my rental cost by 30%. I canceled reservation. I didn’t have time to wait for an Uber then drive in 5pm traffic to the airport , plus pay out of pocket for the ride. During the exchange with Customer Service, a staff person exited from the Avis office, I confronted him about closing before stated hours on website and sign posted on their window. The staff person tried to tell me that closing time was 4:30. I responded that both the website and the sign on the window note a 4:45pm closing time and asked why the 4:30 closing time wasn’t updated on window and website as it should be. Hr just shrugged his shoulders, smiled, and said, 4:30pm, I’m sorry, and walked away! If there were a place to put zeros, I would! Horrible, horrible customer service!! However, the person from Avis customer service (national) was great in trying to assist,

WOW!!! SHE REALLY MADE ME WASH THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR WHEN I BROUGHT IT BACK. SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE DOESNT HAVE ANY WATER LMAO. NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN ASKED TO WASH A RENTAL!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO ENTERPRISE. THEY WONT MAKE YOU WASH THE INSIDE OR OUT. LAST TIME I USE THIS PLACE!

It is a good place to get your budget friendly rental car, but you the lady is so serious and does not really have a good customer service, but overall, it is a good place. You should check it out
